Last week Katie Couric updated David Letterman on her search for a unique nightly sign off for The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. Over 50 thousand people sent in suggestions including Katie’s favorite “Here, kitty, kitty, kitty.” Another favorite was: “Thanks for watching. I'm Katie Couric, and I'm not just for breakfast anymore."

I’m not going to lie, I’m a little upset she didn’t mention my suggested sign off that I shared with you last month and recently submitted: “I’m Katie Couric. Suck it, America!” Perhaps she didn’t use it on Letterman because she plans on using it for the show, okay that makes me feel better.
