Laguna Beach Recap 10: " It's, Like, Break-Up Season"
Hey Beach Bums!
It’s not looking happy for Raquel this week, as Alex tells E.J. that he’s thinking of breaking up with Rock because she’s way too intense for him and he just wants to be single. E.J., sympathetic man that he is, says, “sucks for Rocky” and the boys are on their way. Doesn’t make you miss high school now, does it?
Rocky and Alex meet at the beach and Alex tells her he is confused about their relationship. Raquel vows she will change and offers to back off and give him some space. She makes it extremely hard for him to break up with her and basically begs for a second chance, to which he agrees.
The kids are a buzz about the upcoming beach bonfire, and all concerned because of the “freezing weather.” It’s tough to have to wear a sweatshirt in the dead of winter.
Lexie and Rachel are having lunch when Alex and his friend Stephen roll up to the girls for some awkward conversation. They do a little flirting and, when the girls leave, the guys giggle about how cute they are. Stephen suggests that Alex get rid of Rocky ASAP.
Laguna’s manly men meet at the beach for some Top Gun wannabe volleyball before the bonfire. Cameron makes it a point to take off his shirt and show off his killer abs, just as the girls show up. Kyndra and Cami complain about the sand. Yes, that’s right, they complained about the sand. In Laguna. At the beach.
At the bonfire Tessa and Raquel are, once again, treated like outcasts. Nobody talks to them and there is plenty of talking and whispering behind their backs. It is so sad and infuriating that those ogres outshine these nice girls. Alex and Rocky go for a walk and Raquel badgers him to speak his mind and express his feelings. Alex finally says “he’s done” and “he’s sorry” and Raquel pretends to be strong and walks away. Within minutes Alex is macking on Lexie and getting her digits – right in front of Raquel!
Next week looks juicy, too. Can’t wait to see you then!

Geez, just when I thought Alex was a nice guy, he turns out to be just like all the others. And it looks like next week Derek turns out to be a jerk too. Why is everyone always hating on poor Tessa and Rocky? They seem so nice in a sea full of catty bitches.
I can't get over what a scum bag Alex tunrned out to be. I knew he was a robot, but when he decided to first boast to the Laguna witches that his relationship is winding down, then breaks up with rocky infront of those trolls. And then decides to stick around afterwards and mack on Lexie and her ugly friend. He wins the super scum bag award.
And next week he is calling Rocky a slut!! Now that makes him a super Doooouchebag.
I dont get where everyone comes off thinking Alex is attractive because, honestly?? These guys have nothing on the original LB cast!!
Next week promises to be good. I hate how ALex is now part of the "in" crowd, after having met these people through Rocky. Jackass.
Wow I used to really like Alex-and of all people to hook up with LEXIE-star trek look alike...Rocky was way to good for him.
Thank goodness there wasn't much of Kyndra and Cami, I'm so sick of them. I can't believe that Alex was such an ass and to not even wait for Rocky to be gone to hit on Lexie. And these girls thinks that's attractive in a man, GREAT.
AND, I can't believe he would have the nerve to call Rocky a slut next week because she moved on.

Alex looked so nice and down to earth at the beginning and then turned out to be a total scum. He should have been more of a man and ended with her the right way..by talking..not saying he was done. She didn't deserve that at all. Ass..le
i most certainly do NOT miss high school after watching this crap. and when rocky was all like "i'll change" I almost threw soemthing at her. there is no 18/19/20 year old man on this earth worth changing for.
young girls are ridiculous. I was the same. dont' we all wish we coulda just skipped that entire age?
