Laguna Beach Finale Recap: "See You In a Decade"
Hey Beach Bums!
Sigh. It was graduation day in Laguna as the Seniors prepared for their big day, and the Juniors complained that they were being left behind. Derek, Kelan, Chase and Nick moved their tassels to the other side, as Kyndra, Cami and Cameron looked on. The girls cried while the boys celebrated. You know, a typical graduation.
Rocky celebrated with Alex at his graduation and gave him a NICE IPod Nano as a gift. She later confided in her mom that she feared Alex would move on to bigger and better things now that he is off to college.
The super-pretty couple have a heart-to-heart on the beach of what's to come and Rocky and Alex decide to stick it out and try a long-distance relationship while he's away. Alex gives Rocky a creepy looking ring to seal the deal.
Cameron and Kyndra threw a "beginning of summer" barbecue at Cameron's house. Kyndra fought with Cameron because he wasn't emotional enough about his friends graduating. Man, she is so annoying. I bet he isn't sorry that whole Cabo hookup didn't happen. The twosome do manage put together a video of the good times with their Senior buddies that was actually quite touching.
Breanna wrote Rocky a letter pouring her heart out and begging for another chance at friendship. Rocky, the sweet, sentimental girl that she is, was overjoyed at the thought of rekindling what they once had. If you ask me, Rocky is so much better off without Breanna, but what do I know.
The girls meet up, talk it all out and wipe the slate clean. Breanna wondered what Tess would think of her and Rocky reconciling. In short, Tessa was NOT happy, and poor Rocky was stuck in the middle once again.
Cameron said his goodbyes to Kelan, as he headed off to college in San Diego. Feeling down and out, Cam called Jessica to hang out. They went to the beach and Cam leaned on Jessica. He had the audacity to ask her if she thought she could ever turn into his girlfriend. What a loser! Hey Cameron, she worshipped you and you dumped her. In a surprising move, pathetic Jessica turned him down. Though I have my doubts about how long that is going to last.
Kyndra, Cami and their girl posse have lunch at the St. Regis and talk about their senior year to come. Obviously they'll be the stars of next season's Laguna. They can pretend all they want that they are sad their friends are leaving, but inside you know they are so happy at the thought of having more screen time.
Chase prepared to leave Laguna and left Tessa a goodbye message on her voice mail. We got one last glimpse of Tessa walking on the beach alone, listening to Chase's message. And that was it.
Can you believe it? No Tessa-Chase hookup?! Not even a real goodbye with any kind of innuendo?
I was outraged! Anyone else? Post your thoughts on the season and the finale so I don't have to feel so alone.

Did anyone see the aftershow with the call in? I missed it cuz my server was down. Why wasn't Tessa there?
I saw some of the after party and was surprised about Tessa and Cami not being there! Why was Lexi there? She has no personality. I wondered about Alex and Rocky, are they still together? I thought the ring he gave her was crippy.
This finale kinda stunk. Why no Tessa-Chase hookup? You know those two are so meant for eachother. What's up with that? Ugh. Perhaps they're saving it all up for us in Season 4!!

So I was actually hoping that Chase and Tessa would finally hook up, even more after the voice over was like "Comparing them to Chase" or something. And then, nada, what the heck, this episode didn´t really give any conclusion, well except for the fact that the bitches are still bitches

I enjoyed watching Kyndra hurt herself while NOT playing tennis, although she and Cami seemed to have shopped for the perfect tennis outfits, they make me SICK. Cameron was so sad all his boys left and even though it won't last, I'm glad Jess said no way!
I feel bad for Tessa, she must feel all alone, I home next season her and Rocky are still friends and she meets the perfect boy.
I totally missed the aftershow, damn Tivo. Please someone, post what happened!
did rocky and alex stayed together for real or was it just for tv? did rocky and tessa stayed friends after knowing that rocky and brianna was on the road to friendship?

Rocky should not trust Breanna! Breanna is keniving! She hopoked up with derek!! UUGGHH!! Ow well their gone!
I Love Tessa, but I hope she eventually realized that what she did to Rocky when Rocky started making up with Breanna, was exactly what Breannahad done to them when they first became friends.
