This just in: Nip/Tuck star Joely Richardson has quit the hit drama to return to England take care of her ailing teenage daughter.
That's Not A Wrap: TV Guide is reporting the Aaron Sorkin drama Studio 60 on The Sunset Strip got a full season pick-up. So much for all the speculation it was about to get cancelled.
American Idol News: One of last season’s finalists has been given the green light for her own TV show. According to Variety , Kellie Pickler will play a “naive small-town Southern girl who discovers that her biological father is the state's well-respected governor. His presidential dreams are put in jeopardy, but the two form a father-daughter relationship that winds up helping his standing in the polls.” The script is being written by my friends and former That 70’s Show colleagues Chris and Bryan. They rule.

I believe the main place that spoke of Studio 60's demise was FOX; who tends to make a 'news item' and minor drama out of everything that happens in the media. This is why I don't wash it. It's trash. I can't imagine why the ratings for this show are low except that the majority of it's viewers use TiVo, and this doesn't register with who is tuning in at the specific time it is on. If there was some way to register them, one would see a Much bigger following. Look at the online support... I started a MySpace page, and without trying now have 113 people that signed up to view it. Pretty amazing. The show Will go on :), and there are a lot of people who have it's back!
