Exclusive: Grease Is A Boutique Hit

Access Hollywood's Billy Bush is hosting the newest reality show, Grease: You're The One That I Want every Sunday night. Each week, he'll give us a behind-the-scenes look at the judges' quest for the perfect Danny and Sandy to star in the musical version on Broadway this summer.

I have realized that Grease has a small but passionate audience. Its a boutique hit. My hope was that this show would help re-ignite Broadway, but in fact, it has taken the faithful and brought them great satisfaction.

Having Andrew Lloyd Webber on the show was fantastic. That man could very well be the most successful man in any field.

Amongst the non-performers, there were as many British people on the stage last night as American, with Denise, David and Andrew joining Kathleen, Jim and me. All for the most American of productions -- Grease. The British have come!! Its been a fun cross-cultural experience for me personally. They are all wild and fun.

I feel badly for little Ashley Anderson. Apparently, many of the other "Sandys" were not so sweet to her. Having only been married for a few months, I think Ashley's going home is the best thing for her and her husband. They should be together every night building their foundation. Marriage is a long and beautiful haul. The beginning is crucial.

My eight-year-old daughter came to the show last night and in the green room afterward, where a small meet-and-greet party is held, she flipped out taking photos of all the contestants. She was most excited to meet Austin and Max; two guys who are genuinely kind and cool. Call your friends and get them to watch so we can grow this special show.
