Top Model Takes It to the Beach
Let me just say that I was rooting for Brittany. (Notice the emphasis on was.) But after these last couple of weeks, her whining and crying were beginning to get to me. Would she finally get the boot this week? I was hoping. Here's your recap.
Go-Sees and Tantrums
The show began with the five remaining girls heading out on go-sees. If you're a virgin ANTM-er, go-sees are when the models visit the designers, show them their books and walk for them. The only rule on Top Model is that the girls make it back to the head modeling agency on time--in this case, 4:30pm.
The girls split up and it's clear that Jaslene and Renee are definitely rocking it. They both are super friendly. Renee even sticks photos of her baby in her portfolio to bond with a new mommy designer. And Jaslene finally gets to show off her super "fierce" walk.
Natasha is just blah and Dionne goes crazy by asking all the designers if she can keep the clothes. (Very bad taste, Dionne.) In the end, I think she pocketed a swimsuit and a t-shirt. As for Brittany, she is in lala land. Not only does she not say a word while the designers look at her books, she doesn't keep track of the time and stumbles during every runway walk.
When the time comes to make it back to the modeling agency, Renee and Dionne make it back with time to spare. Jaslene runs in right on the dot. Natasha is a minute late and disqualified and Brittany is more than a few minutes late. The best part of the whole episode? Brittany's tantrum. She is outside the agency screaming so loud, crying and cursing, that the judges look embarrassed and don't know whether to continue. And I loved how Natasha tried to comfort her, "There are war in other countries." So profound, Natasha.
In the end, Jaslene wins by scoring the most bookings. She is able to pick a friend--Dionne--and they get a special photo shoot on the top of a very high bridge to beef up their portfolio.
Women's Magazines vs. Men's Magazines
The next day, the girls arrive at the beach at 5:30am. They are informed that they will be doing two photo shoots today--both in swimwear with a male model. However, one shoot will be for a women's magazine and another will be for a men's magazine. Tyra was going to be the photographer for the women's magazine shoot (in another effort to take over the world…) Here's what happened:
Renee:
She looks fabulous in her men's photo, however I don't get what she's doing with her arms in the women's photo.
Dionne:
In her women's photo, Dionne looks like she got a lazy eye. And if I ever saw a reason to NOT get a tattoo it would be that huge-ass butterfly on her stomach. Dionne's in trouble.
Natasha:
Looks beautiful, in both shots. Best line: Jay to photographer: "Watch out. This one can get a little porno."
Jaslene:
Great photos. The best of the bunch.
Brittany:
Good photos, but still reeling from your temper tantrum!
Elimination
At elimination, we learn that none of the designers wanted to book Brittany. Once again, her tears start flowing. Cry me a FREAKING river. It's no surprise that Brittany and Dionne make in the bottom two, but Brittany's lack of connection with the designers send her packing.
Bye Brittany! I loved the photos, but the tears have to stop! Now, I'm totally rooting for Jaslene or Natasha. How about you? Who do you think will win?

If Brittany would have not had the tantrum she may have stayed. I think the judges did not like how she handled herself, esp bc they commented that Natasha handled herself well when she learned she was disqualified.
I still think Brit should have stayed over Dionne.
Dionne is ghetto, Pretty trash, but still ghetto.
Tyra always makes such a big deal about it being more then good photos, you have to represent, speak well etc...
Why did it get overlooked last week when Dionne interviewed ppl on the street and said multiple times
"Can I ACKS you a question?"
Brittany to me, gives a way better impression then Dionne, even if none of the designers wanted to hire her.
I think Natasha could win, but maybe not bc of the voice.
Jaslene is great, but in person she looks greasy to me and shes also ghetto, but doesnt come across that way like Dionne does.
Renee could win, but last year Caridee won so I dont know if they would do that look again.
Also she could be the girl who they say is too commercial
I still wish Brit could have won. I can't believe they'd rather tell Dionne exactly what to do in photos, than help Brittany with her go-sees. Seems like a no brainer to me!
It would be nice for a hispanic girl to win, so go Jaslene!
Brittany was MELTING DOWN.....she couldn't handle it anymore, and I think more than anything that's the reason she's gone......There are a lot of 'ghetto' models (Tyra anyone??? Mrs. Russel Simmons) but above the ghettoness, her attitude is pretty decent, at least she works the chit chat - it was tacky of her to acks for clothes, but why not??? she knows models get a lot of perks, but she should have thought more in terms of a competition & showing your best side....
I think in Brits first pic - she looks a little possessed and NOT all that...
They couldn't possibly say anything about Dionne's accent. Pointing out failure to speak English is politically incorrect, ESPECIALLY when the speaker is non-hispanic/native to the language. We can't have that on Tyra's show...
I liked Brit a lot. I'm sad she's gone. Renee is WHINEY, Jaslene is UGLY, Natasha is meh, and Dionne cannot speak to save her life.
I liked Jael, Whitney, Sarah, and Britney.
Of the final four? I guess I'll take Natasha.
I'm so surprised that Natasha is doing so well, her photos and Jaslene's were beautiful!
I was glad that Brittany got eliminated, the crying and the complaining was getting annoying. And plus, I noticed that she looks great in photos, but in person, she looks weird sometimes.
I think some of the girls look different in their photos too.
Natasha is not pretty yet gorgeous in photos.
Brittany is downright funny looking yet her photos are great.
Dionne, Renee and Jaslene kind of look like themselves in their photos but those other 2, you would not even recognize that its the same person.
I know hair and makeup do a lot, but in the case of Natasha and Brittany they really look so different.
I think Jaslene looks just like Janice Dickerson. It's uncanny sometimes!! Natasha is pretty sometimes but other times it seems like her lips are hugh and out of porportion to her face and it makes her look weird!! I agree with the others about Brittany, when she's not made up I don't think she's pretty at all, I think it might be her mouth or teeth!! I like Renee, I hope she or Jaslene wins! They're right about Dionne, she just looks down right scary and mean in her photos!!!!
I can't believe the Brit got eliminated! I mean, yea, she was deffinetally whiney and tempermental, but for the past ones, she's always been on top. Okay...maybe the episoide before this one wasn't her greatest, but it was a huge shock to me, I thought that Dion was a gonner. Oh well. I really hope that Natasha wins, because though Renee is really pretty, she's just too fake, and Jaslene is bleh. Dion...don't even get meh started. GO NATASHA~!

If Natasha doesn't win then Jaslene should win, even though she looks like a starving child in real life, her pictures and walk are amazing.

they look amazing but the best one's are natasha and jaslene.
I have the same exact sweater that Tyra is wearing during the photo shoot. It's a gray zip up hoodie with navy blue hearts and arrows. And I got it at Wal-Mart!! Do you think she actually bought it there? If so, that's funny. If not, then Wal-Mart is making rip offs of high fashion. Haha
