David Beckham Comes to TV
Talk about competitive! Victoria Beckham isn't the only one hitting the small screen. Her super hottie husband David Beckham has plans for his own reality show -- about (what else?) soccer. I'd say this show will tank before it ever airs, but it has two things going for it. First, David Beckham's Soccer USA is going to be produced by American Idol uber producer Simon Fuller. And second, women everywhere will tune in at least once to catch a glimpse of David's rippled shoulders/back/stomach etc. But the scheduled 13-week series that gives viewers an inside look at Beck's performance with the Los Angeles Galaxy? Someone I can't imagine that staying entertaining for very long.
What do you think about David getting his own show? Are you sick of the Beckhams already?

I agree. Her show tanked, and his will, too. They're trying too damn hard to be popular here and just need to go away for a little while. There's a very funny article here on how obnoxious they've been with publicity and has some theories on why no one here cares:

I thought Victoria's show was great (major). I think she is about the least fake acting celebrity. She seems very honest and a very involved mother. I want her show to be a series. I'd watch them both!
What IS everyone's problem?? If you don't like the show change the channel. Why wish for them that a project would go bad? That's just hateful. Find something else to do.
I wish them both success while they are in the States. Those unkind comments about Victoria are totally uncalled for. She's very attractive, gracious, and has a nice personality. She seems to be a very devoted mom and wife. I see nothing obnoxious about either one of them. Give them a break, jaykaydee! Besides, it's like all the rest of the celebreties in Hollywood, and everywhere else in the world, the paparazzi probably follows them around and their lives won't be their own. Same old, same old.
I think they're both awesome and have a lot to offer to America and wish them both luck!!!
I very much so enjoyed Victorias show. and i wish they would have them both on the same show..."Meet the Beckhams". Only the people that are jeaolus of them and their life would not be well wishers. Just push a button to change the channel. They seem to be very much in love, and good parents, very fitting to the L.A. Lifestyle,which makes for very interesting reality show material. Besides, they are both Hot.
Are you kidding? I've give VB a break when she stops pretending to be a designer and a celebrity. I don't think Becks is trying to hard to be popular it's all VB and MLS's doing. I don't think America understands what it means for Becks to play MLS here, it's the same as Michael Jordan playing basketball in Croatia.
