I think this is an strange choice for him. I know it seems to be the path for comics without a sitcom (Howie Mandel, Jeff Foxworthy, Bob Saget...), but I never would have imagined Drew Carey in this role, without his buddies to play off of, like on Whose Line.

I think it is great, the show is about the contestants and I think Drew seems like a good choice. If it was Rosie I would ban it! And I dont see what all the fussis over mario??? He cheated on his wife at his bachelor party with a paid stripper, what is so attractive about him? Dimples????? He is still scum, noone who should be worshipped.

I'm surprised they picke Drew Carey. A non-traditional, quirky choice...but it could work.

Strange choice but I like Drew. I was hoping for Todd Newton from the Whammy show.

I think they made the wrong choice in Drew. He is not going to be able to pull it off. In my honest opinion, that show needs to go off the air because NO ONE can replace Bob. They should let a good thing end with respect...and not try to replace him. Drew is ok...but this is not his type of show.

I Think Its A GREAT IDEA DREW IS A GREAT GUY AND A VERY FUNNY COMEDIAN. HE BRING IN A WHOLE NEW CROWD OF VIEWERS THAT THE SHOW HAS NEVER HAD FAITHFULLY. GREAT CHOICE AND THE BEST OF LUCK TO MR. CAREY. OH AND AS FAR AS MARIO GOES HE BELONGS IN THE GUTTER WITH THE REST OF THE SCUM.

Drew's a better choice than O'Donnell. If she had got that job I NEVER would watch "Price is Right" again. That's my final answer!

I think they made a good choice with Drew. He's a really talented actor and comedian. But honestly, no one will ever be able to fill Bob's shoes. The show will never be the same no matter who you get to host it. If it gets cancelled in the next few years, I don't think it will be because of the new host--it will just be because the new host isn't Bob.

No matter who will host the show now, it will never be the same Price Is Right!

I just cannot picture Drew Carey as host of The Price is Right. I loved him on Who's Line is it Anyway, but this seems strange. I will watch to see how he does, but he would not be my first choice as host. I wonder what Bob Barker thinks about it? I do wish Drew luck though, I am a fan of his in his other shows.
