Hey Paula Recap: July 19

Snowed in in Philly, a giddy Paula decided to play a joke on one of her peeps by placing beef jerky, which looked like poop, in their bed. Poor Jennifer screamed her head off, which made Paula nearly piss her pants. Her laughter very quickly turned to anger when she read an email from the Bratz movie people, who informed her they didn’t need her clothing designs she worked so hard on. She cried about how poorly she’s treated and lashed out at her assistants for making noise. “I’m trying to tell a God damn story,” she yelled before heading to her private room. Yikes!

The next day, they still couldn’t leave due to the weather, so instead of oh, say, sleeping, which she complains everyday about not getting enough of, Paula and her girls went shopping in a hotel tourist gift shop. Then, finally, they got clearance to go to New York for her David Letterman appearance. All she needed was Daniel, her hair stylist, but he couldn’t be there, thanks to the snow. “Who is going to do my hair and makeup here, in New York?” she panicked. She ordered her entourage to get this dude, Billy, who “consults” her, to NY from L.A. (regardless of the flight restrictions due to the weather). She broke down about needing help. She went on and on, weeping about who-knows-what. But, alas, both men made it to the Big Apple and all was right in Paula’s world. While being prepped for her Dave interview, she realized she needed to be on top of it so he didn’t make her look silly.

Meanwhile, her assistants had to frantically pack up everything because their boss decided she wanted to go back home after the Letterman taping. Shockingly, she had nice things to say about new assistant, Patti, but Patti, wasn’t confident that she would stick with the job too long. Perhaps Patti didn’t know how much of Paula’s mood swings she could handle.

On the limo ride to the show, a nervous Paula cried to Billy. She got out of the car to see tons of her fans, one of which was a beyond-star-struck tween admirer.

Paula was thrilled with her interview with David and beamed as she walked out of the studio to her still-hanging-on supporters. She greeted the tween, who gave her a box of Milkbones for Paula’s pups. Yes, doggie treats for Miss Abdul. Maybe the youngster should’ve handed her cash, since we know Paula never has any on her. Billy kissed Paula’s butt a bit by raving about how well the appearance went and how beautiful she looked. Aw, no wonder she wanted him by her side.

Once again, we saw Paula’s rollercoaster of emotions; deliriously tired to upset to demanding and angry to happy again. But we didn’t hear her complain about being tired. Not once. Things are looking up!

Why on earth is Paula agreeing to do this show???
This show just solidifies what everyone already thought of Paula... that shes absolutely out of control nuts.

Shes either shown being loopy and still sticking to her story that shes just tired and not on drugs or drunk.
If that is true, then why not just get some sleep?

Oh, but then shes got such an important busy schedule that she cant possibly afford to sleep when she has QVC jewelry to sell.
She acts like all of her work is THAT important, like shes curing cancer.

She then whines like a baby to her staff when any mishap occurs.

She couldnt fathom doing an interview when her "consultant" wasnt there to tell her what to say and rehearse.

What would be so wrong with being interviewed without any "help"? Do all the celebs need to rehearse and get people to tell them what to say before they are interviewed?

Paula expects all of us to feel sorry for her, but this show makes her look even stupider then she already did.
Why is she doing this???
