Just in case you weren't seeing enough of Ryan Seacrest already, he's scored one of the highest profile hosting gigs of the year. In addition to morning radio show, American Idol job and E! red-carpet correspondence, Ryan has just signed on to host pre-game and halftime shows at the Super Bowl.

My friend Tracy at the Daily Blabber thinks Ryan is the wrong person for the job. Besides the fact that she thinks he's "overexposed," she also had this to say: "I know Ry knows a thing or two about music -- and he's supposedly played football in high school -- but the Super Bowl? It's just wrong. What's next? Will he be the moderator in the Presidential debate?"

But I have to disagree with her. I think Ryan is a great choice. He's charismatic, funny and knows his sh*t. Besides, it's not like he's playing football... or even commentating on the game.

Ryan, I'm on your side. Game on!
