Southern California Fires Threaten 24, Cold Case and Others

24 had to cancel its location shoot at the Marine Corps Air Station El Toro when the smoke from the nearby fires became too overwhelming. This mini-break gives star Kiefer Sutherland some much needed time to hit a local pub and booze it up as he's been known to do.
Also the new ABC drama, Big Shots, scrapped shooting a Malibu bicycle sequence while the show Cold Case had a number of their sets blown over by the high winds.
Meanwhile, Dancing With The Stars' Jane Seymour's house in Malibu was just evacuated. She tells TV Guide that while her children are out of harm's way, her husband, James Keach, has decided to stay at the house to try and save it. He's not a fireman, he's just a crazy guy with a hose.
"The last time there was a fire [in October 2003], James actually fought it and saved the bluff using [swimming pool pumps and hoses] that I had laughed at when he installed it. Since then, he has put in even more equipment."
I can't make fun of a guy who is as hard core and as bad ass as that. If it were me, I'd be at the Four Seasons Hotel getting a mani/pedi right about now.

Now why would you feel compelled to make the speculative comment that Kiefer would go drinking during his time off? He actually went to the studios and filmed some scenes, and has since then flown to New York.
You really are an idiot. Couldn't you have thought of something better to say? Just had to get in a snipe about Kiefer.
I think the "splash of attitude" is misleading. More like "unnecesary vomit because I can". I was a member of ivillage in the beginning. This is just another reminder of why I'm not anymore.
oh get over it, people, it was a joke.
Exactly! Kiefer has been arrested FOUR times for driving while under the influence. A drinking comment ain't off the mark. Lighten up.
I agree with Fran McLaughlin. That guy deserves to be made fun of until he's so humliated that he never drinks and drives again.
