TV Recap: ANTM

All of this alludes to the upcoming challenge. The ladies are split into groups and are asked to come up with with a brief public service announcement for Keep A Child Alive. Heather, Ambreal, and Jenah’s idea is picked, and Heather’s name is randomly selected as the winner. Awesome prize, by the way -- a photoshoot directed by Mary J. Blige. You go, Heather!
And ANTM continues on their environmental kick. The ladies once again meet with Jay Manuel who explains to them that during this week’s photo shoot, the girls will pose as recyclable materials. What is Jay doing to these girls? Who comes up with these ideas?
Jenah rocks the shoot as cardboard. Saleisha poses as car parts. The judges are most impressed with these two. Most of the other girls have trouble expressing themselves during the shoot. But they are happy that Heather finally decided to face the camera.
While they aren’t that impressed with many of the ladies, they are least satisfied with Ebony and Ambreal. I guess Ambreal’s newspaper getup and Ebony’s bubble wrap pictures weren’t cutting it. Both girls end up in the bottom two.
Just as Tyra declares that Ebony is safe and Ambreal is about to be sent packing, Ebony says she’ll go home in Ambreal’s place! Woah! Is this the same girl from the first episode? Where did the girl with the attitude go? I knew she had changed and was less confident that the beginning, but really wouldn’t have thought she would have offered up her chance. She had so much potential. I guess she meant it when she tossed around the idea of going home.
Tyra makes it know that she does not like a quitter. She ultimately lets Ebony leave and allows Ambreal to stay in her place. Ambreal better give 110 percent next week because I doubt any of the remaining girls will forfeit their position.

Though I do think Ebony had a bit of an attitude, I am so glad that for once on a reality show, that when someone says they want to go home, that its REAL.
How many times have we heard, "I hate it here, I want to go home" or "I am going to leave the competition" and then they wait and make sure they have made it past elimination, all of a sudden their mind is changed.
(Danielle on Big Brother, Maria on Age of Love, just to name a few recent ones)
Its like their little way of saying "you cant fire me, bc I quit" bc they know they are in jeopardy.
FINALLY someone says they want to leave, and its real.
They really DO want to leave.
Tyra saying she does not like a quitter is stupid.
Like if you made a mistake in thinking you wanted to be a model, but then when you get a taste of it,you decide its not for you, so you bow out.
Is that really quitting? I think its just cutting your losses, and moving on.
My fave is Heather.
She is a nice person and she is a great model.
I was happy when Ebony decided to go b/c she could of majorly screwed over someone who really wanted to be there.
I agree with the above post you always hear ppl talking about how they want to leave then decide they want to stay.
Heather & Lisa are my 2 favs they take amazing pictures and I think they'll definatly be in the top 5
I saw Ebony's leave coming a mile away. I'm glad she decided to leave because #1- I didn't like her at all and #2- she clearly didn't have the desire that the other girls had.
I will say that I am glad that she got an attitude adjustment and realized that being a biatch to everyone will not get you very far!
I also hope Heather doesn't burn out or freak out from her rapid success. I want her to do well!
