TV Recap: Dancing With The Stars, The Results
WWWWWWHHHHHAAAAAAATTTTTT?????????

I almost can’t even write up a review because I am in so much shock!!! Sabrina Bryan is gone. Her time on Dancing with the Stars has come to a rudely abrupt end in the sixth week of the competition. Who saw that one coming? For the first four weeks, she was the one to beat. She snagged the first perfect score and raised the bar above everyone else’s heads. Evidently the others have not only reached, but they have surpassed Sabrina’s standards of excellence.
The audience booed, the other stars gasped. Not even the judges could contain their utter shock. Carrie Ann looked like she was going to cry. Bruno seemed to be looking for whoever was responsible for sending Sabrina home so he could beat that person down. No, Sabrina’s performance last night was not great, but there were definitely others whose were worse (I think you know who I mean).
Mel Brown and Jane Seymour were pronounced safe first, leaving five competitors who have never faced the scary glare of that damned red light. Marie Osmond and Jane were in the bottom two in the judges’ eyes Monday night, and that’s where they should have stayed. (The audience agrees that these two older chickies are getting tired). Instead, Sabrina and Mark were joined by Cameron Mathison and Edyta. That said, poor Jane ... again. Last night she apparently came down with a nasty case of food poisoning (yuck), leaving Tony to re-dance the group performance solo. (Julianne stepped in as his partner for the spotlight portion. What a nice girl).
Barry Manilow performed last night. What can you say? It’s Barry Manilow. (The dances that accompanied Barry were wonderful, though). In a brighter performance, a professional (?) dance troupe put on quite a show to highlight Carrie Ann and Bruno’s upcoming show, Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann, due to air in January on ABC. The show, which will be hosted by Drew Lachey (whom I wish were still filling in for Samantha Harris), will face off two groups of dancers, one led by Carrie Ann and the other by Bruno, that will sing AND dance. Based on the West Side Story-esque preview last night (which omitted the singing), this show will most definitely be more intense than Dancing (it helps that the competitors on this new show will have dance background, I think).
I liked the part in the show last night where the stars got the opportunity to grill the judges. Although I thought some of the questions were a little safe, it seemed like an interesting opportunity to gain further insight into the minds of the high and mighties. Len could be a politician the way he kissed everyone’s behind during questioning, reassuring Marie and Helio, then rambling on about the values of truth and justice to Mel. It’s a fun dancing reality show that not that many people watch, cool out, Lennie. (Maybe he’s just trying to be bold in the face of not getting his own show).
So it’s true. It’s anyone’s game. Anyone could go home at any time. No one is safe. There’s really nothing more to say. See you next week for what could potentially be another mind-blowing farewell.

Yaay! The ringer is gone!
What more can I say, must have been the same people who voted for president Bush the second time around.
Sorry Sabrina, you were great and you deserved to win. It only proves that most of the time "favoritisim" wins over talent.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm still feeling a sense of deja vu...that day, about a year and a half ago when Ryan Seacrest announced:"Chris Daughtery-the journey ends for you tonight..." yeah, had that same "WTF?" feeling last night. She is far better than the other 6-Jane or Marie should have wished us a fond farewell last night and Sabrina should have been the one holding that mirror ball trophy at the end. Just like Mr. Daughtery should have claimed the title a year and a half ago on American Idol. deja vu all over again!!
What a travesty!! Sabrina is the best dancer there and gets kicked off, with Jane, Marie, and Cameron still on???
Come on now, that's crock and I might just stop watching!
I wish Sabrina well, but I know it was tough on her as she is such an excellent dancer. It just shows you have to vote and not take anything for granted!
Allie, you said it again, that it's a reality dance show that not that many people watch! What universe are you in?
Check out the ratings on Tuesdays in USA Today and you will see that DTWS is the second highest rated show - so, apparently a whole lot of people watch!
Hate that Sabrina is gone - have no one to root for now.
I just couldn't believe it, I thought Sabrina was going to win. And she should have. My fear is that all of the soap fans who voted Kelly Monaco in the first season are going to vote for Cameron Mathison this season. He's good-- but not that good. I'm almost afraid to watch the rest of the season.
MY MOUTH DROPPED OPEN LAST NIGHT WHEN SHE WAS VOTED OFF, WHEN THEY SAID IT WAS A SHOCKING ELIMINATION SHE CROSSED MY MIND AS THE ONE LEAVING BUT I DIDN'T THINK 2WICE ABOUT IT, I THOUGHT NO SHE'S TOO GOOD AND SUCH A GREAT PERFORMER, THEN SHE WAS OUT!!! I REALLY ONLY WATCHED THE SHOW TO SEE HER AND MEL B. DANCE. MARIE SHOULD OF WENT HOME LAST NIGHT, NOW I'M THINKING MEL B. OR HELIO (SORRY IF I SPELLED HIS NAME WRONG) WILL BE IN THE TOP 2 BUT THEN AGAIN YOU NEVER KNOW
I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THIS, SABRINA IS ONE OF THE BEST DANCERS ON THE SHOW THIS SEASON. I ACTUALLY BELIEVED IN THE END IT WOULD COME DOWN TO SABRINA AND MEL B DANCING FOR FIRST PLACE. IT IS QUITE OBVIOUS THAT SOMETHING ISN'T RIGHT HERE. SABRINA IS A MUCH BETTER AND TALENTED DANCER THAN SOME OF THE REMAINING CELEBRITIES. AS I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED TO BE TRUE, THIS DANCING COMPETITION IS FIXED IN THE WAY THAT BEFORE THE SHOW EVEN ACTUALLY AIRS THE WINNER HAS BEEN CHOSEN. I'M NOT SAYING THAT THE OTHER CELEBRITIES DON'T DESERVE TO WIN, BUT IT IS SO OBVIOUS THAT SABRINA HAS TALENT AS FAR AS A FEW OF THE REMIANING CELEBRITIES. AS I DID PREDICT AT THE BEGINNING EVEN BEFORE THE NEW SEASON AIRED THAT IT MAY WELL BE THAT CAMERON WINS THIS COMPETITION, BECAUSE LIKE PREVIOUS SEASONS THE WINNER SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN CHOSEN BY POPULARITY AND NOT ACTUAL TALENT. IT'S SAD THAT SABRINA WAS ELIMINATED. THIS MAKES IT HARD FOR THE VIEWERS TO ACTUALLY BELIEVE THAT THIS COMPETITION IS BASED ON FAIRNESS AND TALENT.
I think what happened last night is that everyone who calls in thought that Sabrina was doing so great (and she was) that she didn't need their vote - don't assume that - her scores had nothing to do with it - it was her fan base - they are mostly young kids and tenns - just goes to show you the fans have the last word.
Here's the deal.
Sabrina is a trained dancer who does it for a living (or she has)
People who watch this show really want to root for the underdog.
Take Jennie or Cameron.
They are not trained,
They have never danced.
Both started out just OK.
Now they have grown into being really really good.
THATS what DTWS is all about.
Not about the favorite who already knows how to dance.
Yes, Sabrina is a great dancer, but you expect her to be.
Then when you see Jennie or Cameron or Mel or Helio who are not trained really be almost as good, you realize what this show is really about.
You cannot compare this to Idol. Idol has singers who have been singing forever and who want to pursue that career.
DTWS has people who are doing this to revive their career or for fun, but not bc they are trying to get into a dance career.
Sabrina also prob did not have the fan base either, nobody prob ever heard of her before the show.
Can I say STUNNED?!!! I did not know who the Cheetah Girls are but I have really enjoyed watching SABRINA dance. She dances very, very well and she seems very likable too. I am so sorry that she was voted off, but I hadn't voted so I guess I'm partly to blame.
It'a a travesty and i'm appalled! i cannot believe they voted off such a great talented girl..so what?..i didn't know of Sabrina before DWTS..does that mean she should go?..Hell NO!!..i voted for her each and every time.I just know if Jennie Garth wins i will probably stop watching DWTS for good!!
I know who the Cheetah girls are because my TV stays on the Disney Channel a lot of the time with two pre-teens at my house! And yes, Sabrina does dance and sing in those movies and concerts. I knew she was going to be great when the DTWS celebrities were announced but she still should not be voted against because she has experience as it was also shown that she could improve on some presentation, movement between fast/slow and such. I am going to miss her and she should have been in the finals!
Sabrina was my favorite and I am not going to watch anymore after such a travesty! I thought it would be Sabrina, Mel and Helio in the final 3, deservedly so. Now, there is no telling who will wind up in the finals but I sure hope it is not Marie, Jane, or Cameron or Jenny.
At first when I found out Sabrina was going to compete, I was hoping she would win since I very much liked her in those Cheetah Girls movies. But once I saw her real personality, I realized that I just liked her character in the movie and not her real self. She is a sore loser. I don't care if she was in shock but she could of at least smiled a lot more and be proud she got this far.
AS I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED TO BE TRUE, THIS DANCING COMPETITION IS FIXED IN THE WAY THAT BEFORE THE SHOW EVEN ACTUALLY AIRS THE WINNER HAS BEEN CHOSEN
well, leigh, i hope youre wrong, because if it IS fixed and the winner has already been chosen-i have a feeling it will be miss marie osmond...if she wins, i will be done watching dwts. i love that show-i look forward to it every week-i think apolo did great last season and deserved that title...this year, sabrina was doing great and deserved that title-and she obviously isnt going to get it...it sucks.
I agree with Tamara's comments. I think Sabrina was a ringer and never should have been on the show. It was not fair to the rest of the stars and America got it right. Although with Jane showing us the worst dance ever, I think she should have been the one to go this week. The real problem with this show is that you can start voting as soon as the show starts and only get a 1/2 hour after the show. Voting should start only after all the dances have been done. That would make it more about the dancing and not just who you like.
Drew Lachey also had dance experience but he ended up winning DWTS, so this excuse that Sabrina didn't get votes cause she had dance experience is a lot of BS. She was the best. She should've won. This is an unjust show. Only one vote should be allowed via email or phone per household, and then maybe the contest can be fair.
Anyone as upset with Mondays DANCING WITH THE STARS results as we are???
