Lauren and Whitney get the tough job of casting male models for Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood issue. One of the guys catches Lauren's eye, and the two realize they know each other from a previous shoot. It seems Lauren tried to set Gavin up with Heidi, way back when. Before he leaves, Gavin grabs Lauren's number and promises to call.

Spencer whines that Heidi has to work again, on a night when he was planning a make up dinner for their botched anniversary. Heidi finally says something smart -- as she's walking out the door she hits Spence with, "I'll be at work -- why don't you try it?" Burn!!!

At the NASCAR event Heidi is working, the new girl (Elodie's replacement), Kim, rocks. Heidi is all preoccupied with Spencer being mad, while Kim is like, "Talk about it when you get home." She really wants to tell Heidi what we're all thinking -- that the world does not revolve around her and Spencer. The next day, Spencer shows up at Heidi's work and tries to take her to lunch, but Heidi is too busy. Spencer continues to kick and scream that he's not getting any attention.

Lauren invites Gavin to a BBQ at Brody's beach house. Everyone seems to like Lauren's new guy, but Brody gives him the third degree. Brody tells everyone that he just wants to make sure the guy is good enough for Lauren, but he's clearly jealous. Lauren and Gavin go for sushi and have a nice time. When Lauren gets home from the date she calls Brody and tells him that she feels no spark with Gavin, and invites Brody over to watch a movie.

Verrrry interesting...
