TV Recap: The Hills

heidispencernew.jpg
Heidi and Spencer talk about their wedding plans and Spence says they should elope to Cabo. Heidi stresses that a traditional wedding means a lot to her and makes him go see a church. The church's wedding package comes with premarital counseling, which Spencer is none-too-thrilled about.

Why is Heidi marrying him again? He's just plain awful.

whitneyheadshot.jpgWhitney, Lauren, and Audrina go to a sports bar with their trainer, Jarret, who Whit has a crush on. Whitney and the stud play pool and he offers to give her a private training session, which she accepts. They meet at the park, go hiking and flirt. Jarret asks Whitney out for drinks that night. It's a date, but both say they don't want anything serious. It's too bad because they are super cute together. Whitney reports back to Lauren about the date, concluding that, though she and Jarret had a good time, it was more of a friend thing. And there was no kissing -- womp, womp.

Spencer "surprises" Heidi with a trip to Vegas to get married. Heidi gets mad and says that Spencer's disregard for her feelings makes her think that maybe they should rethink the whole marriage thing. Heidi drops his ring on the table.

It's too bad we're still seeing these two all over the place because I would maybe have a glimmer of hope that Heidi comes to her senses and ditches him. But, no such luck. Spencer comes crawling back and says he'll do whatever Heidi wants. She puts the ring back on.

Next week: Spencer's sister arrives to cause trouble and Audrina and Justin Bobby have it out.

I was hoping Heidi came to her senses and dumped that loser. With them being everywhere, of course not. I can't stand Lauren either so it'll be nice to see Spencer's sister cause problems. I love Hills drama haha.

Who cares. All this is probably made up anyway. Also if Heidi wants to marry a loser it is her business. She is the one who will have to live with him not anyone else. I also think that Lauren was not a very good friend just for the simple fact she should have let Heidi know she could do better then left it alone. Why would you stop being friends with someone just because you don't agree with who THEY lay down with at night. It ain't your business. So I think she was a little jealous at first cause Heidi had someone and she didn't. I saw other episodes with Audrina and what's his name and she acted the same way. That is why i think that. Just my opiniion.

I think Lauren is better off without Heidi--she has not been a great friend. I do feel sorry for her though because if she really gets married to Spencer, she will have a miserable, sad, lonely life--kind of like she does now. Heidi, please open your eyes and get rid of the a$$hole!

Is it just me or does anyone else out there think that Spencer always seems to have a weird maniacal look in his eyes? He is very controlling and disrespectful towards other people, including both Heidi and Lauren. And what scares me is that this is him trying to behave good for the cameras. Imagine what he is like when the cameras are not rolling. And don't even get me started on that loser Justin Bobby . . .

Spencer is controlling but that is heidis decisision. Heidi is a good friend. Lauren just needs to get laid and get a life of her own. She is too involved in her friendships. A good friend knows when to back off and butt out. They are grown ups and Heidi is sure able to make her own decisisions in life with out a bossy friend who is just mad because she her friend is moving on with her life. If she can't learn to balance out her own life she will always be fighting with her girl friends and end up lonely. Just becasue she isn't ready for commiment doesn't mean her friends aren't capable of holding down a relationship and friendship at the same time. She needs to learn when it is her place to step in and when to let her friends deal with their own lifes at their own pace.
