TV Recap: The Hills Season Finale
The first scene starts off with Whitney being offered the Teen Vogue trip to Paris, which she's psyched about, but when she asks the boss lady if Lauren will be coming along, the Lisa says Lauren had her chance to go to Paris last year, but chose to stay with Jason. And we all now how that turned out. Whitney breaks the news to Lauren, who seems devastated for being looked over.
Spencer shows up at Heidi's office, but Heidi has her assistant say she's not there. Burn!!
Back at Teen Vogue Whitney prepares for her trip, inadvertently rubbing salt in Lauren's wounds, when Lauren gets a call from Lisa. L.C. heads into the boss' office where she gets the awesome news that she will be joining Whitney in the City of Lights!
Brody and Lauren meet for dinner and Lauren tells Brody she's leaving. They talk about what they want out of a relationship and Brody says he's afraid a serious romance between them would end badly -- like all of his other relationships.
At Heidi and Spencer's apartment, Heidi is packing when Spence shows up. She says she's going home to Colorado to give them "space". Heidi says the wedding isn't happening anytime soon, and she and Spencer share an emotional goodbye. I almost, I repeat, almost felt bad for Spencer.
Lauren packs 500 pairs of shoes for her trip and says goodbye to Audrina. Brody's outside waiting for Lauren and teases her about leaving him. They share a decent kiss goodbye -- but it could have been better. Lauren and Whitney board the plane and head off to Paris.
And that's it. Over and done.
Not a lot of closure -- but, have no fear, just heard our little show has been picked up for another season -- The Hills in Paris and so on, so all the drama will continue, and I look forward to sharing it with you. It's been real, guys.
Well, as real as reality TV can be.

It didn't seem like a finale to me. I wanted to know more. Darn Hills producers they are good! I wonder if Paris will ruin the hills.
I'm going to be honest. I don't think Lauren deserved that trip to Paris. She's still the same silly, flighty girl she was then. As far as I've seen, she didn't do anything to redeem herself professionally. Furthermore, were it not for the cameras I seriously doubt she would have been given another chance. I work in the industry and when you just throw away a huge opportunity like that, they don't give you another one.
Did anyone seethe after show?? What was Lauren and Brody's big anouncement?? My DVR cut off right before she said something!
Well this season has come to an end, and Heidi is still freindless- all she has is Spencer.. they both deserve eachother... LC and Brody are on hold once again, there is still hope for them at least they(She) realizes that he is not boyfriend material yet, there is still hope!! Audrina finally got away from the dirty looking Justin Bobby, and Whitney is still single and has no life aside from work!! Since this next season will be happening in Paris there will be new people in the Hills and no Audrina, or Heidi or Spencer! is that right?
