American Idol Results: End to Four, Comeback for One

A celebration of Paula Abdul and her choreography!

It was -- no doubt, the most memorable moment on television tonight.

(Although it was cool to see Boyz 2 Men on that Wayne Brady singing show too.)

Paula's new music video, "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow," premiered on AI.  You can find the track on Randy Jackson's album which is slated for release March 11.  The video is very Abdulesque.  Cool and calculated moves, blowing hair, the outfits... globs of people moving together.  The music has a techno dance influence to it.

She was a Laker Girl, and is an award winning choreographer and music artist.  Paula was hot stuff in the 80's.  Back with new music after a decade, she's proving she still has it going on today!

This was really good to see.  So I'm going to forget making a comment about what she's doing with her hair these days.

Ok, time to go from up in the clouds with Paula... back down to reality with AI's not so fab four.

It seemed like quite a few American Idol contestants didn't give it their all this week.  Or maybe their all just wasn't good enough.

None of the four leaving the show are shockers or disappointments.  Truly the weakest links.

Amy Davis, Joanne Borgella, Garrett Haley and Colton Berry.

More than 28 Million votes came in for the contestants.  The four with the least amount of votes sang themselves off tonight.  Their family -- watching in the rafters.

How about letting the guests watch a competing night's performance from up there.  Do it at a time when it's exciting for them.  When there's still a chance, rather than standing in the spotlight with a lump in their throats.. as their child's dream slips away.

Let's say so long... One last time.

Colton cuts it up... and he does well.

Joanne "Bo Peep" seems more confident tonight.

Amy gets consoled.  She sounded exactly the same as last night.  Yikes!

Garrett, the self proclaimed "pumpkin head" needs a hug.

Simon gave Garrett grief last night about his ghastly look.

Tonight Garrett says,  "I know I'm a pumpkin head.. haven't gone tanning... I'm being myself."

Oh, we could have had fun with this kid!  But I think America has it right.  These are the right choices.  Fair.

Don't forget.. you can savor these precious AI moments.  The songs the contestants sang this week are available on iTunes for 99 cents each.

Next Thursday, two more guys and two gals will be eliminated.  It's another three day AI week.

So get used to me.

Funny pictures. I think they were weak too.
All the guys look amish. Why?

I was really really hoping that Chikezie would go he just irritates me for some reason. I think America should have given Colton another shot. Do I think he is an American idol? No, I don't, but he was better than Chikezie.

I think America made the right choice. It is always sad to see someone go and you are right Julia the family should not be made to stand up there by thmselves. Loved the outfits on the girls I think I maybe had one of those dresses when I was that age. The boys do not look Amish - get out a history book and check out the styles for the 60's or look in one of your family albumns you will see those outfits there. As for Paula her video was great, I kept wondering why she doesn't hire the makeup artist and hair dresser she used in the video to help her out on AI

I like very much the ">music video and I agree with TAP that the makeup artist used in the video is also great. America MADE the right decision.
