Recap: Dancing with the Stars - Ladies' Night!

Tonight on DWTS, it's the women's turn to light up the dance floor. Our female celebs say it'll be tough to follow the men last night, but with the guys' scores of mostly five's and six's, I think the women will bring it on.

First up is American Pie starlet Shannon Elizabeth and partner Derek Hough dancing the cha-cha-cha. It was definitely a great start for Shannon, she had great energy and really showed off those long legs. If she pays more attention to straightening her legs and refining her technique next week, this "sexy minx" (as Bruno called her) will be one to look out for.

Tennis champ Monica Seles and partner Jonathan Roberts sashay out to the dance floor with the foxtrot. Monica looks a bit stiff, but her height and technique gives off an air of elegance—if only at the beginning. Bruno tells her that she started out very 'Grace Kelly' but quickly transformed to a 'Grace Adler'. Way to go with the pop culture references, Bruno.

Marissa Janet Winokur, Tony Award-winner, seems really really excited to be at DWTS. She's giggly and perky, and just cute as a button. You can't help but root for her and partner Tony Dovalani, who is almost bare-chested, and wearing a pair of pants that looks like a sequin explosion. Their cha-cha-cha had great energy, but the judges thought there wasn't enough "content" in there to be considered an actual cha-cha-cha. Marissa also messed up the footwork at one point, but who cares really? Her enthusiasm is really contagious.

I initially thought Priscilla Presley didn't look too excited about being on the show. But maybe all that seriousness was just her concentrating on her and partner Louis van Amstel's foxtrot. She was surprisingly graceful and elegant (even while doing the death spiral!) and had the audience up on their feet with a standing-O, and the judges showering her with praises.

People might think Olympian and figure skating champ Kristi Yamaguchi has an unfair advantage, but she's quick to point out that in figure skating, she had to be really flat-footed. Whatever that means? Her and partner Mark Ballas' foxtrot was clearly the performance of the night. Her timing and technique were awesome. All those spins and jumps on the ice must've really paid off because she ballroom-danced like she's been doing it for ages. Bruno called their dance "absolutely wicked" and Carrie Ann said Kristi made the foxtrot look "effortless." Here's our clear frontrunner, folks.

Last but not least, Oscar-winner Marlee Matlin took to the dance floor with DWTS-newbie Fabian Sanchez. It was great watching Marlee rehearse with Fabian and her sign-language interpreter standing by. Those must be some tough rehearsals. But Marlee really did great with their cha-cha-cha. The footwork was not super, and timing was sometimes off, but hello? Degree. of. difficulty. As the judges said, she was just inspiring to watch.

Next week, two contestants (one male, one female) will be voted off. Who do you think will be strutting out of the ballroom?

Did anyone else notice that Priscilla Presley looked like she had had too many botox treatments and couldn't move her mouth enough to smile? She refused to look at anyone directly and kept covering her face with her hair or her hand. Vanity!

To Anonymous: OMG! I noticed the same thing! I was thinking maybe that's why she always looked so serious... but maybe she just can't smile or show any expression! Eeek.

regretfully she had some botched facial procedure done by a "quack" doctor. She, and many other people were duped by this bogus doctor. Hopefully, a real plastic surgeon is now trying to correct her problems. I give her credit for still going on the show!!! I wish her luck!!!
