American Idol Results: Babbling Brooke
The dream is lost for the smiley believer who brought sunshine, rainbows and the sounds of birds chirping to the set of AI. Usually serene and bubbly with life... Babbling Brooke White's chances as "the" American Idol have dried up.
She started the season strong, but lately made a few costly mistakes by forgetting the lyrics. Shockingly she was saved those weeks, but it caught up to her. Expecting it, Brooke said, she's been packed for weeks. Her fans lost hope.. just as I suspected -- at number five. It's about time I got one right! Jeeze it has been tricky to whittle down the top 10 in order this year. Viewers and fans have been very unpredictable.
I say Brooke should go out and do something daring to celebrate this turning point in her life -- like how about watching a rated R movie? That actually might be a bit risky for the 24 year old at this time. Will those babies get their nanny back now that she's been eliminated?
Brooke and Syesha Mercado were in the bottom two again this week, but both were smiling and optimistic. They were just "happy to be a a part of the AI experience."
Down to four contestants now... three boys and only one girl left standing! How is Syesha going to hold up against these strong male contenders? She can certainly hold her own, but you are looking at some hot competition. Just look at this crew!

Natasha Bedingfield showed us she has a favorite idol contestant - David Archuleta. Natasha performed "Pocket Full of Sunshine," which was an appropriate song to sing on Brooke's departure night. After singing and a little flirtatious Seacrest talk, Natasha walked over to where the contestants were watching on the couch. She said she wanted to meet "David."
I don't know if anyone else noticed this (or maybe he was just being chivalrous - which I can totally see too) - but right when she said that and she started walking over. David Cook stood up (did he think it was him?)... and Natasha stopped at David Archuleta - who, by the way was flabbergasted. Ryan suggested Archuleta take her to the prom.

This week's mentor, Neil Diamond sang something from his upcoming album, "Home Before Dark" (due out May 6). He performed, "Pretty Amazing Grace". His mom was proudly in the audience watching. Neil's been at it for a while, and when Ryan asked him why he never retired, he said because he loves what he does. Neil also told the top five to believe in themselves and don't stop -- no matter what Simon or anyone else might try to tell them.
Coca-cola has picked a winner for its AI design a cup contest. Ryan Lessnow gets that honor. And as Randy Jackson showed off the cool design, many were most likely wondering what beverage of choice was in Paula's new snazzy cup.
Speaking of which, how did you feel about how American Idol handled the whole Paula blabber mouth mistake from last night? LAME! Ryan says that "the rumors are not true. We love Paula and she's a part of our family." Yet he didn't address which rumors... and the thought of the show being fixed goes way beyond Paula's loose lips.

Jason should have gone not Brooke what is everyone thinking?
I agree that Jason should have gone and not Brooke. She was a very good singer.
Jason has only lasted this long because he has the popular vote, Not cause he is the better singer. I agree with Brooke leaving, but Jason should be in the bottom 2.
Jason is hot and a much better contestant than Brooke. He plays guitar too.

This was the right choice. Brook should have been gone weeks ago when she messed up the first time when she was at the piano. I think this show is fixed. I have such a bad taste in my mouth from all the obvious things that go on. It keeps getting worse. Give me the days with Constantine and Bo Bice. That was a kick a** year!
After Michael Johns was out, I was thinking what are Brooke and Jason doing there. So, bye, bye Brooke!
Brooke have a great personality but she was nerveous. Carla should have stay and Jason should be home. I remember last year when Melinda did great from beginning to the end and get voted off. Well i can say that Melinda doing really well, she will released her first album this year July or August 2008. She didn't need to win to be a winner. If you are a fans of her come join us to keep you update about her and support her in her new career at www.mdstreetteam.com. Melinda support Jordin from the beginning and still support her.
