On this week's episode of The Real Housewives of NYC...
Bethenny
Surprise, surprise, Bethenny and Jason are back together. That was quick. The couple was supposed to go out to dinner with Jill and her husband Bobby, but Jason was stuck at work. He finally showed once dinner was over, which raised him up a notch in Jill's book, since she said he obviously only showed up out of respect for Bethenny.

Alex
Alex and Simon are going to an event at the Met, and Alex's hair actually looks good! She got it straightened professionally, and it looks fantastic, especially compared to that witch hair she usually sports.
LuAnn
LuAnn has Bethenny over to drinks and we learn a surprising fact. LuAnn's marriage to the Count is her first... but it's his fourth. As Bethenny says, "Four's a charm, right?" Wow. I wonder if he has kids from his previous marriages.
LuAnn's son (the one who thinks his mom is never home) asks if he can go to dinner with LuAnn and Bethenny. LuAnn says no, because "no children go to this restaurant." Her son says, "It's a restaurant!" and she shoots him down again. She really never is home.
Bethenny

So, Alex and Simon are off to the Met and they hit traffic. This sets them back so they have to fly through the red carpet (though the paparazzi had their cameras down for them because they had no idea who the couple was), and don't get a chance to network before the opera started. I'm convinced they showed up late on purpose so it wouldn't be caught on camera that they really didn't know anyone there. What do you think?
LuAnn and Bethenny
I've been waiting for this scene all season. Bethenny and LuAnn get a car (that Bethenny's boy Jason sometimes uses) to drop them off at the restaurant. Bethenny introduces the driver to LuAnn, saying, "This is LuAnn." When they get in the car, LuAnn says to Bethenny, "If you introduce me, to like, a driver, it's like, Mrs. deLesseps. You know like kids. It's a level of respect. My husband would actually be like, 'Oh My God.'
Bethenny feigned surprise, but you know she was thinking, "Are you kidding me?" As she said in her interview, "I do not have the Countess handbook so I had no idea… get over yourself!"
Alex
Alex made the Style section of the NY Times, though the picture was of her back and she was #25. Apparently she's been #1 in the past. Not at opening night though. Interesting.
Also, Bethenny and Jill call up Alex to invite her to Bethenny's dinner party. Bethenny even says on the phone that it's a girls' night. Then Alex says, "Question for you. Question, question. Could I bring Simon with me?"
What???? Do you think Simon's a girl? Or are you that attached at the hip that you can't leave him home for one night?!?
Alex herself must know it's weird because she said, "I can put him in a cocktail dress." Why the heck is she bringing him?
Aaaaah, I love that later on, when Alex is telling Simon about the party, she says, "I gave them ample opportunity to say 'No, it is a girls' night.'" Really? Are you sure you did that, Alex? This is too funny.
Simon then says, "So it'd be weird then if I didn't go?" Oy. Also, they blatantly say they're going to re-gift wine for the event.
Ramona
Oh Ramona. She went off about how she didn't understand why Simon was there. Listen, we all think it's strange that he came. But most people would be nice about it and not be rude to his face (behind his back, maybe). Ramona made the whole situation very uncomfortable.
Beyond that, the dinner table conversation revolved around class, and it was obvious that Ramona had no class at all. Especially when she got up in the middle of dinner and said she was leaving to go to a club downtown with her girlfriends. She wanted a girls' night out, this wasn't all girls, so she was leaving. How rude is that!? It was insulting to Simon, it was insulting to Bethenny's cooking, it was insulting to everyone there. Wow.
Later on we see Ramona dancing at the Gotham event. Was that not the scariest thing ever? That woman is insane. And what was she doing dancing with other men? She kind of makes me nauseous.
Alex
Bethenny went to Alex's house for Francois' birthday. Alex's house was a mess. There weren't even floors! Bethenny was shocked. As she said in her interview, Alex and Simon presented themselves in such a scholarly, European, world traveled, luxury hotel way, so it was surprising to see their house in such disarray.
On next week's Real Housewives, Ramona strikes again.

That Ramona is so nuts it's funny,I would have thrown her out at dinner,and her dancing was so scary it was a funny as hell..Alex & Simon are sickening,he is just obnoxious..
Ramona is a pretentious self-absorbed idiot. Everyone thought it was odd for Simon to come to girls'night, however, you don't throw a temper tantrum like a two year old because you didn't get what you wanted. Grow up, show some class! Moron!

This show is such a far cry from my reality. I think my fav is Bethany. She is so real. Luann is a close second but I do think she needs to spend more time with her lil' boy who really seems to want her around. It is only a matter of time when he will kick her to the curb. Jill, I think she truly has her friends best interest at heart. I really dig her too. Ramona, well omg I would die if I were her kid. She needs to stop being a stage mom. Her husband needs to see her real side and kick her to the curb. He is such a hotty. Alex, needs to simply look long and deep at herself. She is really not aware of her existence.

Bethenny doesn't belong on the show, but she's good filler for a go between.
Duhmona is a complete trollop and a liar. I hope she's good and embarassed by how Bravo is making her look. I wonder how horrible her mother's marriage was? Can you imagine any guy that poor Avery brings home to meet mom? Look in the future guys! It ain't gonna be pretty. Francois and Johann are going to only know curse words en Francais and they will hurl them at AlexSimon every chance they get. Ally is going to be a frumpy codependent who can't make any decisions for herself because Jill does everything for her. Noel is going to end up hating his mother because she chooses herself over him. Her daughter will end up being a supermodel.
Why is Alex sooooooooo ATTENTIVE about her clothes and self image, but she neglects her hair. It looks like shit on a daily basis, and somebody really needs to take her to get her hair done. It's about as irritating as Simon following her around- REALLY ANNOYING.
Those two make me want to vomit up french frog's legs.
Please! Would someone please tell me that this is "creatively scripted" and not "reality"? I can't believe people would deliberately behave so rudely, arrogantly, stupidly in front of a camera then have to live in the "real world"! Simon and Alex with all their pretentiousness and ragamuffin society children live in a hovel? Would YOU want all of America to see that? I truly believe that this show and others come up with a "storyline" of sorts and encourage the "cast" to adlib situations. The drama (others' reactions, etc.) is done in the editing room.

All I can say about Alex....the suburbs DON'T EVER WANT YOU BACK! Talk about pretentious couple.....and oh yeah right - you don't want to be a "socialite".....lol! Ramona - You are a joke! Luann....remember, you are only called "countess"....you are nothing but a label and you love it. You are not all that and your housekeeper is talking about you. Why don't you stay home for taco night with your children.....Jill and Bethenny: YOU ROCK! Bethenny....I love your honesty.....you are awesome!!!!
