Real? Are you kidding? There is nothing real about these fake personalities. This show continues to get horrifyingly worse with every city. The first show of Atlanta housewives was my last to watch. If anyone thinks that living in this manner automatically makes you an important person, then you are living in a vacuum. These people are vapid and vacuous. They have no real purpose in life other than to feed their own bloated egos. Important people are people such as Martin Luther King, Mahatma Ghandi, Barack Obama, Mother Theresa and anyone else who is making a positive change to the world. People who feed their egos like these ladies will only implode later on in life because all of their name brand possessions mean absolutely nothing. And…. they make themselves look shallow and very stupid. I am glad I am not like this. Buy your Gucci asses off bitches; I would rather take the high road. It is a much happier place and I would rather be an enlightened individual; it is a much more interesting place to be. Television executives need to do everyone a favor and quit highlighting this selfish, egotistical behavior. It serves no purpose whatsoever.

I like it. Sheree have some what of a diva personality like me. She is very sure of herself. I like persona. I wonder, what part of Ohio is she from. I grew up in suburbs of Cincinnati(Wyoming,Ohio.). Don't hate if these ladies has it going on. NeNe I like because she is real, she reminds me of my cousin Marsha, she makes me laugh. Some times you have to work hard for what you want. But remember ladies, do not forget where you came from.

I saw a preview episode of this trash and I was appalled. These women are a hot ghetto mess and I will be sitting this one out. They make the other housewives look downright classy. I mean, seriously? At least two of these women aren't even married and one of them is a complete gold-digger trying to make enough money from her divorce to sit around doing nothing but pretending she's important. Pathetic. These women are the last thing we need on television. The entire Real Housewives franchise was already bad enough but this really takes the cake.

I have watched all of the housewife episodes and this is the worst of all. These women have no respect about what life is all about. Its not just the lavish lifestyles and who can outdo who in the fashion industry. They have a emptyness inside, they need the Lord, there is a void missing in their life. They have nothing on the other episides of the housewives. I can tell they are not use to nothing, its just the men they married that makes them think they are more than anyone else, not. And as for the word DIVA they need to look it up, it is not what they think. I feel sorry for them. I pray that they seek the Lord.

Are you kidding me? If these low-brow, nouveau-riche, ghetto rats think they are Atlanta elitist, they are delusional. What an embarrassment for such a great city as Atlanta. If you want to see the real the Housewives of Atlanta attend the High Museum on an opening night or a Komen charity event were the real elite is in Atlanta. No self respecting women would ever be caught dead changing in a gas station parking lot, period. Much less into a sequin tube top and an plaid mini skirt. The issue I have with this show is simply a taste level, of which they have proven that they have none. Money does not equal taste or class. I will give Lisa Hartwell a thumbs up for being the only one proud to work and to contribute something to her marriage other than a stretched out Givenchy.

I can't see how any self respecting woman could galvanize behind the women portrayed in garbage television shows like these. The image of women that these "ladies" present to the masses is vile and detestable. They have accomplished nothing of merit in their lives except a boob-job and the ability to trap a sugar daddy. Then they get a spotlight on t.v. where they can teach our young women to abandon their intelligence, integrity, character, and hard work to make it in life by being a trophy for some rich creep.

I just watched this show for the first time today. The old phrase "money can't buy class" certainly applies here! Someone should tell these "ladies" that gum smacking and using incorrect grammar isn't dignified at all, especially at a social event. Phrases such as "He woulda went to get it" and "happy birfday" were like fingernails on a chalkboard. I won't be watching again ... in my opinion everything about this show was "ghetto-ish".

I am a recently divorced 38 year old woman with a 5 year old son. I have watched this show a few times and I have mixed feelings. I have recently moved to Gainesville, GA with my son and I am struggling to keep my head above water. My ex-husband filed bankruptcy right before the divorce to leave me with nothing. My house was foreclosed on and my car was repo'ed. I consider myself a strong intelligent woman so how could this happen. I don't think these women should have to explain or defend the money they have or the lives they choose to lead....obviously there are many people who wish they had their lives or they wouldn't watch the show.. Best of luck to you all. I only wish I knew what it was like to have money and do what you women get to do. Maybe one day.

I can't get over Kim thinking she can sing and Sheree's comments on how the drama going on with the other women "is not normal among high society." Ummm i've yet to see anything remotely resembling high society here. The parties and benefits they have aired so far showing the completely ridiculous clothing these women choose to wear...I.E. Kim's outfit to Sheree's bday party. Is it normal in high society for someone to react to fresh made guacamole as something that was just mixed in a rock??? UGH! I could go on and on as I'm sure a million others could too. This show needs to end after this season and not come back...like i said..its a trainwreck and while morbid curiosity brought me back for bits a pieces..it WON'T happen again.
I can't wait for Orange County to come back and with any hope they will allow some comment from them in regards to this show.

The true blue bloods of Atlanta have never seen this show. At most, rumor of its existence has spread among certain segments of the Junior League and hospital auxillaries. Those who have seen it are probably too embarassed to admit to it. These women are neither representative of Atlanta high society or of upper class black families. This is a bizarre 21st century mistral show. (Making the exploitation acceptable is perhaps the fact that the most exploited of the lot is white Kim--a Dolly Parton caricature, a smoking, pre-menopausal Tammy Faye Baker absent the religion, a post-tornado trailer park gal back fresh from a trip to Flo's beauty parlor). Absent Sheree, they are all fat, with some morbidly obese. Kim looks fifteen years older than her chronological age. What I simply do not understand is how the Housewives (from all the shows) are for the most part fat and high maintenance. Why don't the guys just save their money and patronize hookers?
