Continue or Cancel: Lipstick Jungle, My Own Worst Enemy, MadTV and Pushing Daisies
As we head into midseason TV (yes, we're almost there!), you might just be wondering what TV will still be around. Midseason is usually a time where some fall shows are canceled and the midseason shows return.For example, the fabulous Damages returns to FX on January 7. Fan favorite Lost hits the small screen on January 21 with a three-hour premiere. (Yes, three-hours! Woohoo!)
Not every show is so lucky. NBC has pulled the plug on its freshman series starring Christian Slater, My Own Worst Enemy, as well as the sophomore drama, Lipstick Jungle. Both shows' ratings had dropped considerably in the past few weeks.
Fox has also canceled one of its longest running shows, MADtv. According to the show's co-creator, David Salzman (who wants to shop it to other networks), the comedy was becoming too expensive for its time slot and ratings.
And then there's the ill-fated Pushing Daisies. It's one of the most unique, colorful, entertaining shows on television, and yet it can't seem to catch a break in the ratings. Producers were told to make their last episode a possible series finale. But show creator Brian Fuller has other plans in mind... if the show does meet an early end, he said at the Paley Center for Media that "the idea would be to finish out the season's story arcs in comic books."

We love Lipstick Jungle!! My entire family enjoys watching the show. We enjoy the characters as well as the clothes.
If NBC is crazy enough to cancel, hopefully, another network will be smart enough to pick it up!
C'mon! Don't cancel this show! It's the ONE show I look forward to ALL week. I've followed it jumping around from Wednesday now to Fridays - I don't care what night it's on, I'll watch! I'm sick of reality shows! Lipstick Jungle has a certain intrigue without being cheesy - like Desparate Housewives (can't STAND that show!) Is there a petition we can sign or something??? Oh come on... I'll be SO disappointed if this really gets cancelled.

PLEASE don't cancel lipstick jungle, there hasn't been a better show since sex in the city...please!! Why did you move it to Friday, of course the viewers will be less on a Friday!! Please keep it on...!
I enjoy watching this show so much...I have not erased any episode from my DVR all season. I so look forward to watch it each week. Please Please dont cancel it!!!!

I can't believe NBC is cancelling Lipstick Jungle!!!!!! I'm royally miffed! I wish that there will be enough people who write in to the execs. and NBC will reconsider pulling the plug so early in the game.

MUST SEE TV ON NBC? NO MORE!!!
The only show that's worth watching on NBC is Lipstick Jungle. I am a professional (30+) woman living in New York City. Women over 20 need shows that showcase "real" adult women, not the fluff that is showcased in The Hills, Gossip Girl, etc. which have absolutely NOTHING that I can relate to.
Do you actually think that professional, educated, single, attractive women are at home at 10 PM on Friday night watching Lipstick Jungle?? I've watched every episode of which 90% were online.
Are you even bothering to look at online views NBC? This just shows how OUT OF TOUCH NBC is with it's viewers. I'll bet a large % of the viewers are online viewers who are not being counted in the TV ratings. We live in a fast-paced world. It's not the 90's anymore NBC!
As a child growing up in the 80's... I tuned into Cosby, Seinfeld, etc. every week. I will no longer watch NBC as there isin't anything that I care to watch. I signed up for an account just for this comment.
Please do not cancel the show..i love Victory and Joe and we havent even gotten to see them get back together..The network needs to stop looking at all the people that dont watch the show and start looking at the people that DO watch the show! All they care about is the ratings and the money not the people who have been devoted fans since the beginning, its bullshit and the show needs to stay on, keep it on fridays , its not as demanding of a night for ratings...PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
