Scandal on Jon & Kate Plus 8
I am obsessed with Jon & Kate Plus 8. My coworker, Pat, and I talk about the Gosselin family constantly -- though he thinks I'm a bad fan since I can't match all the kids to their names.
Anyway, when we read that there was some controversy surrounding one of our favorite reality shows, we were devastated. Apparently Jon Gosselin has been partying with college girls.
The rumor is that Jon's been spending a lot of time at his mom's house, which is about three hours from where his own home is. And, on February 6, he went out drinking with the local college girls. The reports vary from there -- one person said, "He was acting like a drunk, girl-chasing frat boy," while another claimed, "He was dirty dancing with several of them, making out, kissing them on their necks and mouths."
One website even posted a photo that they say is from the night in question. Pat is convinced it's not actually Jon. I'm not too sure.
If the rumors are true, that's just not cool. The guy is a father to eight (really adorable) children. And yes, while his wife, Kate Gosselin, may be a bit of a control freak, we love her anyway.
I thought Jon and Kate might ignore this story, but I'm happy to know that Jon has recognized his pseudo celeb status and released a statement:
"It is certainly hurtful for people to spread rumors and lies about us. It certainly makes me reluctant to live my life like the average person would. This has made it very clear that the simplest innocent gesture -- such as taking a picture with a fan, can be taken out of context. As you can see on the show, I am not perfect, but I am a part of a loving family and couple."

I am going to choose to believe Jon! I am right there with you though... all about Jon and Kate and was truly disappointed and saddened (yeah, saddened!!! what the heck?!) by the news of Jon doing that.
Hopefully everything is fine and they're gonna live happily ever after. ;]

aboslutely no proof....... if they had a camera at the party taking a pic of him w/ girls, why wouldn't they also take pics of him kissing them and dancing w/ them!

If he was throwing back a few beers and dancing with the pretty girls, I say big deal. A father of 8 needs to let off some steam, as long as Kate gets the same release once in a while. On the other hand, if he was kissing and making out with the girls, then shame on him, and shame on those GIRLS!
So sad that people have to be so mean. No wonder our world is the way it is. Their kids are adorable and yes sometimes act out but who's kids dont. If you dont like the show dont watch it...simple as that. I for one hope they are around for along time on tv ....As for Linda.....get a clue and know what you are talking about before you write anything... sounds like someone forgot to take her medication today!!!
IMO, those girls look like employees of whatever bar/resto he was visiting. They look like fans, not sloppy party-girls. Yes, he looks flushed, flattered, and downright smitten with young women's interest to have his picture taken with him (and hey possibly schnockered too but most people drink every once in a while get over it). But I agree with the previous poster - other, more incriminating pictures would have been taken along with this innocent one if anything really happened. Wait, Jon & Kate plus 8 is on! Must watch!
I wouldn't blame him for needing a change of pace from his constantly-sniping wife, who I grow to dislike more every time I see her! But he shouldn't be out partying alone when he's in a committed relationship.
I just REALLY want their entire TV show to GO AWAY!! How long are we going to follow their lives, anyway? Til the kids reach puberty? Longer? Enough is enough...time for a new show.

I used to love this show...but Kate is grating on my nerves. Constantly complaining and belittling. I'm certain Jon loves his children...but who could be nit-picked all the time and not need a break.
Give him a break Kate. Change your attitude or more and more people will be tuning out. Then who will pay for the mansions upkeep?
Clearly, it is John, and I think he even admitted that was him in the picture. I think the truth falls somewhere inbetween both stories. I don't think the college girls were lying because clearly John was at a bar and drinking, since he looks tanked in the picture. I mean the statement he realized sounds pretty artificial and staged, I mean this guy makes a living off of the image of having a perfect loving family so it seems likely he would try to discredit what the college girls say.
At the same time, I don't think he did anything more than buy some girls some drinks (like all older guys do) and just relax. Still, it seems wrong that he was drinking with some college girls, since he does have 8 children and a wife at home, but I guess he needs to blow off steam somehow.
if that is even jon in the picture there is NO proof that he was kissing these girls. it doesn't even necessarily look like it's at some hoppin college party. get a life people... frickin ridiculous!
i think that the college girls are lying. i could never see jon doing something like that. he's always the nice one on the show! plus, in the picture it looks more like he's blinking, not like he's drunk...if that's even him. and those 2 girls do just look like fans posing for a picture...it proves nothing!

Its true about Jon, he was having a great time with the gals at a college hangout. I am wondering where these little kids were at the time, because on that date, Kate was at a speaking engagement. What are they doing leaving these little kids with a nanny most of the time. I thought when someone had fertility treatments they actually want kids. These people are acting like their careers and partying is more important. This train wreck won't last much longer.

I am sitting here watching this show that i have watched several times, as i am only 13 i think this is all crap. So what he went out and had a couple of beers is that not a typical man? I dont blame her for being so ornary,because all the people following her. Would you not be stressed out if a bunch of A-Holes were following you?
