tinafey.jpgWhen I last spoke with Tina Fey about Baby Mama, everyone wanted to know how she's able to juggle all her jobs while also being a mom.

Well, I got a chance to chat with Tina again at last night's NBC red carpet, so this time I asked her about a time when all that juggling just didn't do the trick.

First Tina explained that she can't do it alone, and she has a great momtourage to back her up:

"I gotta be very honest and say I have a really great nanny and then I also have my nanny's daughter who also works for us. It takes four adults a lot of times to cover taking care of one little kid."

Then the fabulous 30 Rock star shared a little story of when she just couldn't get the job done:

"The other night I had this whole thing where I was like, 'We're going to have family night and we're going to make pizza.' We went to make the pizza and my husband turned on the TV in the middle of it and I got really mad because I was planning to show my daughter an educational DVD after the pizza. And then she just wanted to watch SpongeBob and she didn't want to make the pizza anymore. So he turned it off and she cried and I cried. It took us like ten minutes to rally and get pizza night back on track."

See, even the stars aren't perfect!

In this season two episode of 30 Rock, Liz Lemon's (Tina Fey) ex-boyfriend Dennis becomes a New York City celebrity after he jumps onto the subway tracks to save someone. When Liz tries to tell Jack (Alec Baldwin) that she's fed up with working with Dennis, he tells her to save it for her iVillage blog!

Wow, I like Tina Fey more than I ever did because she will not hold back and she'll bash anyone!

In the newest edition of Playboy she says that Paula Abdul "was awful," when she hosted Saturday Night Live back in 2005. I guess that revelation isn't that shocking but it's still great gossip!

Apparently during an American Idol sketch on the show, Paula wanted to change parts and not play herself, so Amy Poehler had to play her.

"I remember thinking, 'She's a disaster! I gotta prop this lady up and get her on TV,'" Fey said.

I wonder if Simon and Randy think the same thing!

30roc.jpgRemember when every TV shows used to have their finales during one week in May. It was always the week after my finals in college and I would just plant myself in front of the tv on monday night and not go anywhere until the following friday.

Well, so much has changed since then. Now shows have winter finales, spring finales and finales in April. While I feel like it's a crime to have a season finale in April, NBC does not. Case in point, the season one finale of 30 Rock is on tonight at 9:30pm.

As a special treat during the finale of 30 Rock, Tina Fey will be live blogging over on NBC.com. I love her. You can also head to the site now and leave questions for Tina that she will answer during the show. I'm going to submit: "Has Alec Baldwin ever called you a pig?"

30roc.jpg30 Rock, the Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin NBC comedy has been picked up for a second season.

The pick-up comes as a small surprise as the show has not been a ratings success averaging about six million viewers a week. However a bunch of those viewers are richy riches who earn over six figures and for advertisers that's an important statistic.

"From the beginning, '30 Rock' has proven to be the kind of quality comedy that doesn't come around very often, and we are very pleased to have this show back for a second season," Reilly says in a statement. "We expect it to continue to build its increasingly loyal audience and become another of NBC's classic comedy series."

The show has also been a beloved critical darling and that sometimes helps keep a show on the air. Fingers crossed that theory works for Friday Night Lights as well.

30roc.jpgNBC announced Friday it was giving its freshman comedy, 30 Rock a full season pick-up. The NBC laffer had its best performance on Thursday night in its new 9:30pm time slot after the season premiere of Scrubs.

Episodes of 30 Rock are also now available free on itunes, a move that NBC is hoping will attract viewers that haven't found the show yet. NBC hopes for the similar results they had by making episodes of The Office available for download last year. It quickly became one of the most downloaded shows on the site and the show grew in the ratings. In fact many people attribute the show’s increased popularity as a direct result of making it available on the web, a trend that the other networks copied this fall.

TinaFey.jpgNBC has announced that it has ordered three more scripts for the Tina Fey comedy, 30 Rock. That goes with the three additional scripts they ordered a few weeks ago. NBC is doling out scripts like my parents would dole out my halloween candy, one piece every few days.

If you're not watching this show, you're missing out. Alec Baldwin is absolutely hilarious and the writing is really smart and funny. It's not doing great in the ratings, but I can't figure out why because it's really, really good. Although I shouldn't be surprised, I know a lot of really good shows that people don't watch and then they just go away. 30 Rock will move to its new night and time tomorow night at 9:30pm after Scrubs. I'm hoping its move to Thursday will give it the boost it deserves.
