What do you think Masi Oka is like in real life?
I see him as this quietly funny guy, who can totally let loose with friends.
Who knows if I'm correct, but since I've decided to find him a lady, I figured I should get to know the guy, right?
You see, awhile back I saw Masi on Ellen and she totally made a fake classified ad for him. Well that was back in September 2007, so I figured I should update it for all the ladies out there. It'd be a mitzvah of sorts.
First of all, the good news is that Masi told me he "could still use a classified." That means he's single! (Who's swooning?)
Now, before we get to what Masi's looking for in a woman (suspense!), here's why you should want to date him.
1. He's totally modest. He still has the same car he had before he got famous. It's his way of staying humble.
2. He cares about the environment. Masi's old car (see #1) is starting to break down, and since he needs a car that actually functions, he "might be getting a hybrid very soon."
3. He's chill. "I'm not into big, flashy kinds of stuff," Masi said.
4. He's really great at yelling "Yatta!" in a really goofy, yet cute, way (Heroes fans know what I'm talking about). Plus, Masi said that this season "they want him to be more goofy again. It's a hard balance to make him grow but still be fun." And if anyone can do that, Hiro Nakamura can.
Now that that's been established, here's all you have to do to score a date with Masi Oka. You must be "someone who's grounded and smart and has a great sense of humor."
If only I didn't have such a huge crush on Milo, I'd totally apply.
Well, all that quickly changed the moment I saw him in person on the NBC red carpet. I kid you not, I saw Milo from afar and I started to get butterflies. I immediately blurted out to the reporters around me, "I think I have a crush on Peter Petrelli." (Peter, of course, is the character Milo plays on Heroes.)
Luckily I was able to keep my composure during our interview, but that didn't stop me from running home to my boyfriend to tell him I love Milo. Plus, I even think I may take down my Robert Downey, Jr. computer background and replace it with Milo.
Anywayyyyy, being a massive Gilmore Girls fan (I totally bought my mom a GG card for Mother's Day), I had to ask Milo if he cares that so many people still refer to him as Jess.
"You know what, that's all part of my upbringing. There's been a lot of work that I've done and I don't deny the fact that Jess was my first real thrust into the public eye. But I appreciate it. I enjoy that people are fans of that. And I'll tell you what. That was an amazing show. A great show."
Don't fret! At least one show is making this writers strike easier on its fans. NBC's Heroes site will constantly be updated, no matter what happens with the strike.
Every Tuesday you'll find new graphic-novel chapters, which continue the stories of the main characters. Don't worry, you don't need to read the stories in order to be in the know when the show eventually returns. But, this site will definitely help with the withdrawal for the diehard fans.
On that note, now that you have some time on your hands in the TV world, remember that most networks have -- for free -- past episodes of their shows online. I plan on using this time to catch up on shows I'm behind on, like Samantha Who?, Gossip Girl and Chuck. Anyone else doing the same?
Like any good Hollywood romance in its beginning stages, Heroes stars Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia are denying reports that they're dating. Well, more accurately, it seems they've recruited their costars to do the dirty work for them.

Of the romance rumors, Heroes' James Kyson Lee told People:
"The rumor is not true. Let's just end it there... I think we were just surprised because they're 12 years apart (Hayden is 18 and Milo is 30) – for people to even conceive that. I know there have been a lot of jokes, Hayden turning 18 and whatnot. At some point, you just have to let it go, and respect their privacy."
Right, because a 12-year age gap is just unheard of in Hollywood (insert sarcasm here). Seriously, who does that nowadays? Don't miss our slide show of May-December Hollywood Couples.
I have to admit, I haven't been the biggest Heroes fan ever. I kept tuning in last season, only to change the channel after about 15 minutes. But since you all said you were excited about last night's premiere, I watch it, as promised. And you know what? I loved it.
For all of you Heroes virgins out there, I highly recommend watching this season. It's entertaining, even if you don't know the full back story.
For you Heroes fanatics, what did you think of last night's show? Were you surprised by any of the story lines? How long do you think "Claire" will be able to stay ordinary for?
Calling all Heroes fans! Can't wait until the premiere next week? We've got a sneak peek of the first episode of season two right here. Plus: Heroes star Hayden Panettiere threatened to kill someone. Find out who and why at the Daily Blabber blog.
Are you pumped for the return of Heroes?

Us Weekly reports that the Heroes star has broken up with Laguna Beach vet Stephen Colletti, 21, after over a year of dating.
"Their breakup has been a long time coming," a source told Us. Hayden herself told the mag, "We are still very close friends and talk to each other frequently. We appreciate and support each other's careers."
Me, I'm pulling for Stephen to reunite with fellow Laguna alum -- and one-time BFF -- Lauren Conrad. A little Stephen infused into this season of The Hills will do the show some good.

Listen up Kristen Bell lovers: Not only will you get to see your favorite Veronica Mars' star on the upcoming season of Heroes, but you'll also get to hear her do some hardcore rocking out.
She's starting a band with Clark Duke, who is on my favorite new guilty pleasure show, Greek. Hey, something had to replace my love for all things 7th Heaven. Clark plays this super nerdy kid named Dale, who abhors all things fraternity.
But anyway, in an interview with New York Magazine, he said, "I think me and Kristen Bell are going to start a band. It's called Kung-Fu Professor. This is a pretty new development, like last week. We met through Edgar Wright, the director of Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead. I play guitar and a little bit of keys, and she plays keys and sings. I sort of aspire to sing between, like, cigarettes. I give it my all. I got a lot of heart."
Who thinks Kung-Fu Professor will be any good? I don't know, but I kinda like the name. When can I buy the t-shirt?
Just how big of a Heroes fan are you? Are you obsessed enough to know which TV star has been cast as the newest chick with super powers? Guess the girl standing next to Heroes' Zachary Quinto below. Then click the picture to see if you're right.
Watch out Hayden Panattiere. You might be the "it" chick on Heroes now, but you're about to get some serious competition. The show has cast Dania Ramirez as its newest member, Maya. NBC is keeping her superpowers underwraps. Hopefully this secret will be better-kept than Addison's spin-off on Grey's, right? It makes sense Dania was searching for work considering her role as A.J.'s former fiancee on The Sopranos has, um, taken a hit as the series ends.
Which power would you like Maya to have?

It's happened to Lost and now it's happening to one of NBC's only hits this year, Heroes.
When a new episode of Heroes aired this week, seven weeks after it's last original episode, close to 3 million fewer people tuned in to watch.
Don't worry, it's still a hit in the very important 18-49 adult demographic, but if you want it to continue to be one, here's a novel thought, Johnny TV Executive. Why don't you just air new episodes throughout the season with a few re-runs sprinkled in instead of pulling shows for months on end?
Genius, right?

"We could have new people and new storylines and new ideas and new threats and new bad guys and new heroes. So I would prepare the audience for that idea, that it's not just a continuing serialized storyline about only these people. It's a little more the 24 model than the Lost model, said Kring"
And you know how much people are loving all the changes and new characters on Lost... oh wait, they're not. And the show's ratings suck. Huh. Word to the wise, Tim Kring, Creator of Heroes, stick with what works.
The cast of Heroes is coming to iVillage Live today at noon (ET). Tune in or watch it anytime on demand. Plus, take our poll and tell us which superpower you want most!

Heroes, Heroes, Heroes. It's all about Heroes.
That cheerleader chick -- Hayden Panettiere -- is the new "It" girl and she dates Laguna Beach hottie Stephen. Ali Larter, who plays Niki, is now a little fashionista, landing on all the best dressed lists after the Golden Globes. And we have a little crush on Masi Oka... who is just charming as can be -- and a whiz!
Not sure if you know, but iVillage now has a TV show called iVillage Live. It airs daily at 12, but you don't have to be at home on the couch to watch it. (Not too many of us are at noon, right? We're slaving away at the 9-to-5er.) You can actually watch it live online -- like from your desk at work (!) -- or watch it on demand on your computer after the fact.
The reason we're going on and on about this is because today -- right now actually -- some Heroes cast members are on the show. So if you want to get your Heroes fix, just click here to watch the interview at your convenience.
Okay? Good.
Now for your viewing pleasure... Some photos of Zachary Quinto (Sylar) are after the jump.
Two weeks ago I met Masi Oka who plays Hiro Nakamura on the NBC hit Heroes at my friend Phil’s party in Santa Monica. So when he came down the red carpet last night at the Medium Premiere Party, I wanted to show off to everyone around me that I was cool and friends with Masi. Masi might be the nicest, most gracious person on the planet and I’ve decided to be president of his fan club that I’m also starting.
On the show, Masi is a Tokyo computer/anime enthusiast who can stop time and teleport anywhere throughout the world, pretty damn cool. I asked him if he could travel anywhere in time right now where would he go:
"I would actually go back to my sophomore year in high school and I would tell myself do not ask that girl out, don’t not ask her out, 10 years of therapy right there do not ask her and I would have a much saner view of relationships right now."
I got an exclusive little spoiler about the upcoming season. Turns out Hiro is going to have a little romance arc on the show. (I told you it was a little spoiler) So I asked him tips on love and romance and he told me that the biggest trick is to be comfortable with who you are because in the long run, that’s what matters. Then he quickly added:
"Nice guys can be really cool, too. Don’t necessarily go for the mysterious bad boy, you want a nice guy, give them a chance. "
Awww, how much do we love Masi?
This is why I don't gamble. Before the season started I predicted that the show Knights of Prosperity would be the break out comedy of the year. This week ABC announced it was pushing the show’s premiere to mid-season (never a good sign). Then just last week I confidently said Kidnapped was going to be the break out drama of the year, well, guess what show probably isn’t getting a full season order ? You got it, Kidnapped.
So it was much to my surprise that the first new show of the season to get a full 22 episode pick up is the NBC drama, Heroes. I caught some of it the other night and I thought it was okay, but I don’t want to praise it because apparently, that’s the kiss of death for any show.
Check out our poll and vote for the show you think is going to be this season’s break out hit and see if other people agree.
