Bad news for all you Men in Trees fans: the ABC drama has been canceled.

As Jenny Bicks, creator of the show, told TV Guide's Michael Ausiello:
"I wish the show had not been moved six times and put onto two long hiatuses. No show could survive that."

So true.

It seems to be a trend these days... if a show doesn't get excellent ratings after it's first two airings, it gets moved to another -- usually worse -- time slot. And if the show still doesn't do well, but is somehow luckily enough to stay on the air, it might even get moved a few more times.  Apparently it's supposed to help the show -- but really, how can even the loyal fans keep track of when it airs?

Men in Trees will return to ABC with its last few episodes on May 28. If it's any solace to viewers who don't want to be left hanging, the Men in Trees team prepared for the possible cancellation by shooting an alternate season finale that will now work as the series ender.

Anne Heche is known for making crazy statements but this new one is downright... snore.

"Being a couple makes working together easier," Heche told Extra when asked about on-screen sex scenes with her Men In Trees co-star slash boyfriend, James Tupper.

Wow, that's some pretty insightful stuff!

Of course it makes working easier, Anne. If you get to work with your boyfriend and get paid to make out with him while also still in the hot and heavy honeymoon phase of the relationship then you're living the dream! Call me in year twenty five of the relationship when you hate each other. Oh wait, there won't be a year twenty five cause Anne's plum CRAZY!

E_AnneHecheJames_136.jpgRumored crazy lady Anne Heche is officially steaming up the bedroom with her Men in Trees costar James Tupper. The couple is shacking up in their new West Vancouver home. No plans of marriage just yet, though. James said we should ask him again in a year.

Of Anne, James told local paper the Vancouver Sun, "I wish people could meet her in person. She has such a sparkle and such a love for people and she works so hard. She is so dedicated to all the good things."

Aww, I like Men in Trees. I like Anne Heche. I like James Tupper. I like them together. I'm choosing to believe Anne's not as crazy as her ex-husband Coley Laffoon makes her out to be.

What do you think about Anne? Are you excited about the second season of Men in Trees?
