You guys voted yesterday that I should watch the premiere of Prison Break over new show K-Ville. So, since you asked for it, here's my opinion of last night's show.

I read somewhere that this season of Prison Break was going to be so gruesome that it would make the past two seasons look like a luxury vacation. Whoever wrote that was 100-percent right. In case you forgot, when we last saw Michael Scofield, he had been thrown into Sona prison (or hellhole with out rules, guards or escape) in Panama -- along with Agent Mahone, T-Bag and Bellick.

seasonthreepremiere.jpg

In last night's episode alone, three men died. Bellick was running around in his underwear and looked like he was ready to kill himself, and Scofield was told he'd have to stay in the prison for at least a week and help another prisoner breakout, or Dr. Sara Tancredi and Michael's brother Lincoln's son, L.J., would be killed.

Usually, I'm a devout PB fan, but I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to watch this season. The barbaric nature of last night's show and gory deaths of the inmates was a little much for my taste on a Monday night while I was eating dinner.

Tell me what you thought of the premiere? Will the Prison Break producers make this season work? Can you believe Sona Prison is actually based off a real place -- the Carandiru Prison in Brazil? Should I watch K-Ville next week, instead? Talk to me.

E_LaneGarrison_136.jpgIsaiah Washington, take note. Prison Break's Lane Garrison has filmed a PSA and it makes yours look like nothing! Lane, who will be sentenced tomorrow for vehicular manslaughter and felonly DUI, has recorded an announcement against drunk driving.

Unlike Isaiah's less-than-sincere PSA, Lane's is sort of chilling. He relives the night he drove drunk and wound up killing a teenager. While he's talking, recreated scenes of the crash are played... if that's not effective, I'm not sure what is.

Watch Lane's PSA here, and tell me what you think. Also, what impact do you think this clip will have on the judge tomorrow? How long -- if at all -- should Lane be put behind bars?

E_DavidBeckham_136.jpgI am a huge fan of a lot of shows, but I'd never get a tattoo to prove it. Then again I'm not David Beckham, quite possibly the hottest guy on the planet. So I can't really make fun of him, can I?

David recently added a new tattoo to his already decorated body. The new tat which spans his arms and body was inspired by the FOX drama Prison Break and is actually a map of the fake Fox River prison and a reminder of inmate Michael Scofield's escape route.

Ummm.... okay?

Doesn't anyone else think this is weird? Does this type of fanaticism make him any less attractive? Yeah, I didn't think so either.

E_Tweener_68.jpgPrison Break's Lane Garrison faces up to six years in prison. Isn't ironic? The 26-year-old actor said he plans on pleading guilty to manslaughter -- a crime with which he was charged when he killed Vahagn Setian, 17, while driving under the influence of alcohol and cocaine in December.

Lane was scheduled to have entered a plea today, but his lawyer, Harland Braun, asked for a continuance, citing the breaks in his client's car might have been defective. A new arraignment is scheduled for May 21.

Somehow I don't think faulty breaks will explain away Lane's blood-alcohol level, which was two times the legal limit.

E_SucreGun_136.jpgAlthough I've been in baseball heaven (I'm a Cards fan), I was psyched for last night's return of Prison Break. When we left off several week's ago, the guys had found Westmoreland's $5 million and were set to split it up when Sucre pulled a gun on all of them out of nowhere. No way, I thought, was Michael's most trustful crew member and friend going to screw him over. But sure enough, there he was, shooting a bullet into the ground to make sure the other men knew he meant business.

Remember also that Lincoln had gotten wind of L.J.'s release from the detention center and had gone his separate way to find him.

E_PrisonBreak_136.jpgAttention all Prison Break fans: the show is returning tonight from the baseball post-season hiatus. Justice is also returning, but since Victor Garber is no where near as hot as Wentworth Miller, I'm not watching.

E_GarageWork_136.jpgAh hah! I knew the Prison Break gang would end up back together. Last night's show picks up where we left off last week -- with Michael, Lincoln, Tweener and T-Bag trying to find D.B. Cooper's money that has been buried under the KK Ranch, which has since been turned into a housing development.

In true MacGyver fashion, Michael asseses the growth of the trees to determine where the silo they were looking for once stood. He figures out the money is hidden under the garage of Jeanette Owen's home. In another totally Scofield move, Michael says the housing complex isn't high-end, and all they have to do to get to the money is break through the foundation of her garage. The question now, however, is how.

By now, you probably know that the premise of the show has graduated from the eight guys breaking out of prison to seven guys (remember John Abruzzi was gunned down by the FBI) searching for Charles Westmoreland's, a.ka. D.B. Cooper's, $5 million that he buried in Utah.

In the beginning of episode 5, Michael and Lincoln make there way west in Geary's car. If I were an escaped con, the last place I'd want to be is in a stolen security guard's car, but OK. When the brothers get to Utah, they go on a mission to find the Double K Ranch, where the money is supposedly buried. Of course, no one has ever heard of such a place, and the guys begin to wonder if they've been conned themselves.

E_Tweener_68.jpgIn the meantime, Tweener ends up sleeping with the college girl he hitched a ride from, who has no idea who he is until a cop shows up at their motel room door and asks if she's seen him. Was anyone else surprised she didn't know? I so thought she was on to him. Tweener has made his way into my heart, and apparently the girl's as well, because she doesn't rat him out to the police. Instead, she gives him the keys to her car and says that in a few hours she is going to call the cops and report it stolen and they will find it abandoned on a road.

When Tweener gets to Utah, he runs into T-Bag at a gas station (this is the point where I feel like things are getting a little far-fetched). T-Bag needs Tweener to dig, and Tweener needs T-Bag's directions to the Double K ranch, so the two team up.

Michael decides the only way to find the Double K ranch is to go into the courthouse and look at public property records. So, he and Lincoln take their chances and head through security. Right, because going through security when you're on the run is always a smart idea.

Michael finds the book he needs to find the ranch, but he learns the page he needs is missing, which means someone else has already been there...

E_Episode5_200.jpg

He looks out the window at the crowd below and spots none other than T-Bag. The brothers catch up with T-Bag, interrogate him about the whereabouts of the Double K ranch and then throw him into the truck of their car when T-Bag says Tweener's the one with the map.

They find Tweener tied up in the back room of a gardening store, barely conscious after being hit upside the head by the cashier who recognizes him. Michael tries to fight the cashier off, but the cashier pins him down in a chokehold. Lincoln who comes to the rescue and points his gun at the cashier, instructing him to tell him where Tweener is.

The guys grab Tweener and realize the their huge mistake when Tweener tells them T-Bag's got the map. T-Bag, in fact, is eating the map in the trunk of the car.

E_Episode5A_136.jpgLincoln and Michael make a deal with T-Bag (considering it's their only option) to let him in on the money if he takes them to the spot. This time, they put Tweener in the trunk. When the group gets to the Double K ranch, however, they find it has been turned into a subdivision.

In some ways, I'm almost starting to find the sub-plot about Dr. Sara Tancredi more interesting than the Burrows brothers. Sara meets Lance (who is actually Agent Kellerman, one of the bad guys in on the conspiracy) in her rehab group. At first she thinks Lance is hitting on her, but then realizes Lance is gay -- good move Kellerman! Kellerman believes Sara is still in contact with Michael and that she will lead him right to the cons. He searches her apartment and finds a phone number written on a blue paper swan. He calls it, only to find it's disconnected. Haha!

At first, I thought Sara's father, Governor Tancredi, who is aiming to be the new Vice President, was in on the conspiracy as well. This episode, however, changed that. It seems he really has no idea and is being advised not to ask to many questions about anything involving Lincoln Burrows and the Fox River situation.

Oooh, in this episode, we also learn FBI Agent Mahone has a serious pill-popping problem. He tells his "dealer" he only needs him now for his Midazolam, which from a quick Google search, I learned is generally used to relieve anxiety before a surgery and is very rarely given outside of a hospital setting. This guy obviously has some serious issues! He's clearly smart enough to figure out Michael's plan -- he even figured out why all the men ended up in Utah -- but I wonder if the skeletons in his closet will get in his way...byphoto_lindsey.gif

As you can tell, I've been totally hooked by the first two episodes of Prison Break this season. Between Veronica dying, Lincoln getting shot and FBI Agent Mahone coming thisclose to figuring out Michael's escape plan, I've been sitting at the edge of my seat every Monday night.

But I was a little disappointed by this third episode. I realize elaborate dramas like this need a little setup, but I found myself getting fidgety throughout this one -- hottie Wentworth Miller or not.

The episode opened with Agent Mahone and a medical examiner surveying the wreckage of a burned, flipped over car below a bridge. Before we can find out who was in the car, however, the screen flashes back to 12 hours earlier.E_PrisonCarCrash_200.jpg
Dun, dun, dah!

Michael and Lincoln show up at the home of Michael's wife, Nika. If you remember from season one, Nika and Michael are officially married, although only so she can get her Green card and he was allowed conjugal prison visits. Cozy arrangement they have there, huh?

While Nika helps Lincoln with his wound, Michael goes to the tow yard to get their car back. It's not so much the car he's worried about, but what's inside his backpack, in the car. Michael retrieves his car, but there's nothing in it. He drives off to pick up Lincoln before Mahone can catch up with him.

After changing the car's plates, the brothers say good-bye to Nika -- who seems sad to see Michael go. Does anyone else think Nika might really be in love with him? Before heading west, toward the money and Lincoln's incarcerated son LJ, Michael says he has one more stop to make and asks his big brother if he trusts him.

The question seemed cryptic at the time, but when Michael sends the car into a tailspin at the top of a bridge, it starts to make sense. Knowing full-well that Agent Mahone is on to them, Michael and Linc jump out of car, after they've hit the scan button on the radio and taken bags of bones and blood out of the trunk. Michael had rigged the car to explode when the radio hit station 103.7, hoping to make Mahone think they were dead. They put the car in gear and push it over the bridge. No explosion. As they hear Mahone's sirens down the road, Lincoln reaches in the car and manually turns the radio to the right station. He escapes and all Mahone sees is a huge cloud of fire and smoke in the sky -- which brings us back to the beginning of the episode, 12 hours later.

E_PrisonBreak_136.jpgHelllooo my little Prison Break lov-ahs,

PB and I got off to a very steamy start during its first season on the air. I had a Wentworth Miller screen saver and everything. I loved the ridiculously long intros to each show and the suspense had me biting off all my nails every Monday night.

As the title clearly says, the show is about breaking out of prison (duh). For those of you who haven't been die-hard fans from the beginning, I'll summarize:

Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) is sentenced to death for the murder of Terrence Steadman, the brother of U.S. Vice President Carolyn Reynolds (who eventually becomes President) -- a crime he didn't commit but cannot prove. After Lincoln loses all of his appeals, his brother, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) steps in (literally). Scofield goes out and gets himself put in the same prison, Fox River Penitentiary, for armed robbery. He uses his engineering skills to devise a plan to break them both out. Throughout season 1, we learn that the murder Lincoln is accused of is actually a huge conspiracy theory, and everyone who comes close to the truth ends up mysteriously disappearing.

Even though I'm hooked, there's one thing I've never been able to wrap my head around: I never thought the show could go beyond one season. I mean, isn't the whole point based on whether they successfully escape?

As season two begins, however, Scofield and Burrows have both escaped (along with six other inmates), but the story is far from over. Apparently, eight escaped convicts doesn't go unnoticed -- who knew? This season focuses on the manhunt to find the men and also appears to delve deeper into the conspiracy plot. .byphoto_lindsey.gif
