Currently, Michelle's return is set to only last for a few episodes, though you never know if she could end up on the show for even longer. Georgina is, after all, great at creating drama, which is what GG is all about. Or, perhaps, Georgina will get her own Gossip Girl spinoff?
What do you want to happen? Do you like Georgina? Do you want to see her back on Gossip Girl? Should she get her own show? Or should she fade away into obscurity asap?-- Jacki Garfinkel
So Dan and Serena agree to take it slow for like five seconds, but that lasts approximately as long as it takes Serena to turn the jitney back to Manhattan into a hilariously seductive one-woman show of 9 1/2 Weeks.Blair's emotional cover stories-within-cover stories have gotten so insane that she's now convinced she's actually in love with Lord Marcus, whose judgmental, overinvested mother, the Duchess, is also... Nate's girlfriend Catherine!
While everyone acknowledges that charming Marcus is a total plot device, both inside and outside the show, the Duchess is actually a lot scarier and cooler than she first appeared. Watching her flip back and forth between cute Catherine and demonic Duchess is... kind of like watching Blair do things, meaning it's awesome. Blair gets herself ina lot of trouble trying to get the Duchess's approval, but only after discovering her ex and her future Duchess-in-law does she realize just how many of the cards she's holding.

Spotted. Gossip Girl producers are reportedly in talks to create a spinoff series set at an all girls boarding school.
These Hollywood producers don't waste any time, huh?
According to reports (and mind you, they're just reports - a CW spokesperson hasn't commented), the new series will focus on Taylor Momsen's character Jenny Humphrey. The makers of GG are in high hopes that Taylor will reprise her role as the little Humphrey in the new series, otherwise a new character will be introduced.
Eh, I'm not too fond of that idea.
You see, if you read all the Gossip Girl books like I did, you'll know that author Cecily von Ziegesar wrote a spin-off series of books called The It Girl, which, you guessed it, is about little ol' Jenny Humphrey. And the producers of the Gossip Girl show have the same idea in mind!
Whether the show will get picked up by the CW is questionable, considering the CW has the new 90210 spinoff series (yay!!!!) and One Tree Hill, but who wouldn't like a little more drama and gossip in their lives?

Update: Gossip Girl here again. E! Online is saying that the rumors of a spinoff are just that - rumors. Looks like our little Jenny Humphrey will be sticking around... at least for now. If the next season of the show does well, then these rumors might come about yet again, and they might come true. Until then... you should have enough drama with the cast of Gossip Girl to keep you going for some time.
Serena’s worst fears are about to come true. She still can’t get a hold of Dan so she’s going over to his place—and you just know who else she’s going to find there. Dan decides to defend Georgina—come on, Dan—and Serena is ready to fight her. She wants to explain things, but Dan doesn’t seem so sure. Lily and Rufus wake up together. Whoa, that’s a surprise! So much for the wedding day… or not. She still seems intent on getting married when Bart calls. Someone needs to tell this woman that in this case she can’t have her cake and eat it too.

As our girl Tracy posted in Daily Blabber this morning, Blake Lively and Penn Badgely, who play boyfriend and girlfriend on Gossip Girl, have officially been outed for dating in real life too.
People Magazine snapped exclusive pics of
Matthew Settle, who plays Dan's dad Rufus on the show, first told People, "In real life, Penn rolls with the punches better than anybody ... I don't think he needs any advice."
He also thinks that us fans out there are going to go crazy over the duo. (How right is he?!) "I think people are going to love them as a couple... They're a very hot couple. They look good together. And I think they're good for each other, so why not?"
Time for an interventionSerena’s missing. She didn’t come home last night and neither Georgina nor Dan can get a hold of her. Vanessa is helping out Rufus and his band. We’re about to see the rocker play a real show. Nate arrives, and there’s hope they’ll actually go on a real date before he gets a call and says he’ll be right there.
Across town, Dan goes to find Serena and asks Chuck if he’s seen her. Chuck also gets a mysterious call and is on his way. Dan is left out of the loop. Chuck and Nate meet up in the elevator at Blair’s. The awkwardness of the three of them uniting to help their friend is slightly amusing.
Blair and Little J are still battling for control of the popularity crown. Now with her new boyfriend, Jenny has a slight edge—especially since she and Asher are throwing a huge bash for everyone tonight. Eric gets upset when the two of them are making out, and he tells her he has a weird feeling about Asher. She thinks he just has a crush on her, but really: what is his deal? Does he know something about this guy?Georgina a.k.a. Sarah chats up Vanessa. Apparently Dan and V have sort of adopted her. Since when did they all become such fast friends? Dan’s been talking to her about Serena and they agree the girls should meet. Michelle Trachtenberg reminds me so much of Sarah Michelle Gellar in Cruel Intentions.
‘Tis the season for SATs and everyone has their own methods for passing. Some study, some pay off stand-ins, some don’t worry. Chuck has done some research for Serena on Georgina. According to him, she’s far away—and that’s a little disappointing since Georgina apparently brought out the devil in Serena. Clearly, he at least knows a little about her past. Just when Serena thinks she has nothing to worry about, Georgina shows up as “the ghost of parties past.”Blair is still playing hardball with little J to win back the girls. She is hosting a spa/study session that night. The girls pick her. That’s all right; J’s new plan is to find a king to complement her when she takes over as queen. So far all she’s spotted is a dog-walker.
Hey gang, Gossip Girl is back! Have you seen the new ads? OMFG. Well, okay, things weren’t that hot tonight, but no doubt they will be soon. Things started off with Blair in a Breakfast at Tiffany’s re-creation; only instead of Audrey Hepburn chasing after her cat it’s Blair… or Jenny? Nate steps out from behind a corner and calls her Jenny. This must be a nightmare. B wakes up and has to face the wreckage of her life since she was dethroned as Queen Bee before spring break.
Jenny is trying desperately to fit in with her new crowd (a.k.a. Blair’s old crowd), and it’s obvious she’s out of her league. She went to Aspen with Hazel, she owes $120 for brunch already, and the label-speak is just lost on her. How will she ever keep up?

Good evening, iVillagers. Your TV Cocktail Waitress here.
Do you remember when Seinfeld made the Soup Nazi famous? Well now our elite class of friends—Chuck and Serena—have had the same effect on grilled cheese.
Remember in the pilot episode when Chuck ordered Serena a truffle grilled cheese sandwich? Well that sandwich was served by chef Christopher Lee, a real chef who works at the real restaurant Gilt. And now Lee has added that sandwich to his menu, and at the suggestion of Gossip Girl actors Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, it's called "The Gossip Grill - 'You Know You Love It.'"
However, we have a special treat so you can now make this gossip-worthy sandwich yourself. Check out Secret Sauce for the recipe.
XOXO, Your TV Cocktail Waitress
